Wilson: Chiefs try out Corey Ivy
Veteran free agent cornerback Corey Ivy tried out for the Kansas City Chiefs, according to a league source.
Ivy recently tried out for the Cincinnati Bengals. Ivy was cut by the Cleveland Browns during the final major roster cutdown after playing previously for the Baltimore Ravens. Ivy has recorded 278 career tackles, 9 1/2 sacks and three interceptions. He has previous stints with the New England Patriots, St. Louis Rams and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Chiefs also tried out former New York Jets Pro Bowl returner and reserve cornerback Justin Miller. Miller was cut by the Oakland Raiders on Sept. 5 after signing a two-year contract during the offseason. Kansas City also met with defensive back Lewis Sanders. http://www.nationalfootballpost.com/...Corey-Ivy.html |

Could be Legget may be the odd man out or since Copper is expendable (worthless) they would rather have another DB.
|
This just says "recently".
How recently? Did they try out at roughly the same time as Wade, and they were looking at them as returners and decided to sign Wade because he offers more as a position player as well as a returner. Just my speculation. |
Leggett won't make 'ett

Leggett is ok. He's a find for a FA. But, he's not a going to be another FA Tony Richardson. |
Why are a lot of you suggesting that Legett get cut? That's absurd.

Leggett's not getting cut...holy Christ...
If nothing else, this is Haley doing his best to find a more suitable CB to backup Flowers who can always help in the return game. (Probably mostly the return game...) |
Hopefully this has more to do with replacing the suck that is Ricardo Colclough
if anyone should get gifd up, it should be him. he is uber-suck he is mccleon suck if Flowers is seriously hurt, it is a massive setback for the defense |
