Well, I certainly feel better now.

This game will determine if Cassel's confidence will be crushed or not concerning his ability to pass the ball.

even Herm agrees with you, he picked the chiefs on his espn picks

I want us to win as well and this is the first time we play a team that is on the edge of imploding besides the Raiders. The Cowboys have a tone of talent but they are not cohesive at all. Maybe we stay close but we won't win.
|
Obligatory misled pipe-dream thread.
I can hope with you, not like I won't watch, but I don't see us winning until the Browns or the next Faid game. I'm feeling a 2-14 repeat. |
Actually, maybe Haley has completely gone shut-in....check all the pressers from this week, he has yet to change clothes...in all likelihood, he hasn't even showered or brushed his teeth. Maybe he's trying to rally...

This crazy noOb (sp?) might just be right. I feel good enough about our chances to actually watch the game.

I'm trying to fight the bleeding. That makes me tampon. Big deal. Only a dumbass bleeding pussy would think they somehow won. |

And you are a self described Tampon. Where do you get the milk, from your mom? Posted via Mobile Device |
They tried to make ncCHIEFfan go to rehab... he said "NO. NO. NO."

The Chiefs are not likely to win, but at the same time I won't be surprised if they do. The Cowboys are a mediocre team with some injuries to key offensive players. I won't be picking the Cowboys in the Survival Pool this week.
|
Not near the team we played last week ... Couple plays our way, just maybe ...
|
If Flowers takes a Romo pass to the house we may have a chance.
|
Quick someone tell me how we stop their run game, defend their TE or block that Ware guy.

Long time lurker. First time poster.
As crazy as It sounds in my head, I have to admit I have the same feeling. There is something in the air and it smells great! I feel it in my bones! You can call it "hope" or whatever you want but I call it VICTORY! The play calling will fit this week. LJ will get and find the holes. Dwayne Bowe will return to the field on Sunday and in a big way! Tony Romo will eat grass on more than one occasion and a fair amount of pressure will cause an INT. Roy Williams will not be effective, if he even plays that is. We will get some big tackles on Barber/Choice/Jones. Our secondary will do just enough to give us the W. Witten is my only concern but he will not be enough! Arrowhead will be louder than it has been in a while!!! Matt Cassel WILL have his breakout game as a Kansas City Chief! Todd Haley WILL rally the troops! And last, but perhaps most important of all, we will finally get a break this Sunday in the "Game that never was" against the the Cowboys in our throwback Dallas Texans AFL uniforms with Lamar Hunt watching down below! This is the week everyone. Let's stop being so damn negative and cheer our asses off for our young, up and coming team. This isn't hope, this is real. BRING ON THE 'BOYS!!! |

Anybody tailgating this weekend at the game?

It's giving me a lot more hope that the train is heading down the right track. (Or at least it hasn't completely derailed, spilling nuclear waste next to an orphanage and humane society shelter - which will be the entire city of Dallas if the Chiefs manage to pull this game out of their ass.) |
I can't remotely pick the Chiefs to beat a team with a top flight TE, you could seriously beat the Chiefs by peppering the ball into the TE over and over.
Dallas defensive weakness is their secondary which I don't think the Chiefs have the ability to take advantage of. I don't think we have anyone to deal with their scheme or players when it comes to trying to score. To beat the Chiefs all the Cowboys have to do is pound the run, line up in 2 TE and pepper Witten and Bennett with passes. |

I was listening to Norm Hitzges on Sports Radio 1310 The Ticket in Dallas yesterday... he goes through some of the craziest stats to pick games and there are some that don't speak well for Dallas winning.
I can't remember all the details, but... Over the last 30 years or so, in games where 0-4 teams are a home underdog and playing a team that lost the week before... those teams beat the spread 30 out of 39 times (or something very close to that number) and they out right won the majority of those 30 games. Also, there was a stat specifically for KC (I cannot remember it now) ... but it also proved a track record of winning in a situation like this one. Plus, everyone in Dallas is pointing back to 2008 when DAL played the 1-5 (or 1-6) Rams and lost. It will be a special kind of magical in Dallas as a non-Cowboys fan the next two weeks (they have a bye up after KC) if they lose ... so, make it happen. |
I do paypal if you care to put any money on that prediction
