Says he was flying out on Wed. to visit some schools and scout some players.

Already thinking about the draft.....awesome.

'Hamas' Jenkins 10-16-2009 04:44 PM

Hey Scott,

Have fun visiting Fresno State, Notre Dame, and Alabama. I'm sure if anyone can find picks for all seven rounds from those three schools, you can.

One Love,

Hamas.

The Franchise 10-16-2009 04:50 PM

Scott,

Why in HOLY ****ING HELL ARE GOFF AND NISWANGER STILL ON THIS ****ING TEAM!?!?!??!

Politefully yours,

Pestilence

HemiEd 10-16-2009 04:51 PM

WTF? Why is he wasting money doing this? All he has to do is log on to the Planet, the answers are all right here.

The Franchise 10-16-2009 04:51 PM

The fans who asked these questions are about as clueless as the Chiefs media/reporters.

"What keeps you motivated to come into the office Scott?"

OnTheWarpath15 10-16-2009 04:54 PM

Scott,

Did someone raid your Rolodex and steal the phone numbers of GM's that don't work for Miami, New England, Arizona or Dallas?

If so, I'll be more than happy to do some leg work for you in getting those 27 numbers.

Your pal,

OTW58

DaneMcCloud 10-16-2009 04:54 PM

This is lame.

Don't waste your time.

I appreciate Pioli thoughtfully nodding as Looney read the questions - as if he had never heard them before, or didn't have a response prepared.

That was a nice touch.

OMG.

He admits that he watches a lot of tape when evaluating and scouting.

Is so, why in the hell did he draft Colin Brown and Donald Washington? AND give up two picks for Jake O'Connell?

WTF?

Pioli- "You have absolutely no talent. Are you lazy too?"

Player-"Yes, Sir."

Pioli- "Youre a part of the 'right 53'. Would you be interested in playing for the Chiefs?"

Player- "No, sir. Not that desperate."

KCBOSS1 10-16-2009 06:00 PM

Hey, Scott, I can't wait until the interim year is over and you can bring in Shanahan or Cower for the real head coaching job, can you?

I would been less diplomatic.

"Hey Scott, I know you haven't heard about this, but the NFL expanded to 32 teams over the last 50 years."

Has anyone ever wondered why "watching alot of tape" is such a big thing among football people and a measure of your knowledge of the game? I know tons of dumbass people that watch alot of TV.

1. Since you clearly had no interest in Jamon Meredith, can you tell us what it is about Meredith that makes him so "radioactive" to you? If you can't tell us what it is, that's an answer too... (ie if he can't tell us, it is likely BAD)

2. Do you believe Rudy Niswager is the team's long term solution at center?

3. Aside from Waters, which interior OL on the roster has the most upside?

If the over under is 1 I'll take the under.

Mecca 10-16-2009 07:33 PM

It's still pretty funny to me that a team with an Oline in shambles wouldn't take a no risk move like Meredith.

CoMoChief 10-16-2009 07:41 PM

Dont click on that link......its a waste of your god damn time.

I use the term "radioactive" for a reason. Bringing in a player who is "radioactive" can be bad and ... risky...

We just do not know what it is. Scott knows who Meredith is. Scott knows why Scott doesn't want Meredith. Whether Scott will tell us is another story. From a legal perspective, he should shut up and not tell us.

Mecca 10-16-2009 07:47 PM

I think it's because he didn't play for the Patriots.

Well you get the drift.

I'm not even high on some of these guys (see Boone), but damn....

Question: Hey Scott, why havent you consulted Mecca on CP? He has all the answers and fixes for this team?

Answer: Who is Mecca?

Mecca 10-16-2009 07:52 PM

I hear ya but what's it hurt?

You bring the guy in if he sucks you cut him no loss, the guys we have now suck.

Sadly the team would be better if he asked me, that tells you how good he's doing his job.

Dear Scott:

I've enjoyed the work ethic and attitude you've brought to the Chiefs, and I look forward to seeing you continue to find "the right 53." Keep up the GREAT work; it's a relief to know that Chiefs football is back.

My question is: what is your favorite BBQ?

About to bust,

Right now I am still on the Pioli/Haley bandwagon. But if they dont put together a monster offseason this year, I will go full Reerun vs Herm on them..

yes we all knew this was a bye year, but damn, they could of at least tried...

ChiefsCountry 10-16-2009 09:39 PM

Dear Scott,

How come you passed on a true franchise QB instead of a career ****ing backup that your old boss gave you? Not to mention the abortion of a draft that you had thanks to switching to the 3-4.

Love,
ChiefsCountry

BigChiefFan 10-16-2009 10:07 PM

Wow, the Pioli bashing is like a broken record. He's had less than a year on the job. In fact, he's been the GM for FIVE regular season GAMES. Let that sink in. He's responsible for acquiring 53 players after being signed late in the game and having NONE of his scouts in place, but I digress, he must suck because he didn't acquire all-world talent at every position on the roster without actually, seeing first-hand, what he actually has to work with. Patience isn't some people's strong suit.

5 games in and the Lemmings have already jumped the cliff.

No, it's not. Lemmings are animals that mindlessly follow the leader right off a cliff (which is itself, apocryphal, but nevertheless a solid rhetorical point to make).
