MGRS13 11-09-2009 09:34 PM

I'd like a pledge from chiefs fans.

I'm ****ing tired of the crying and bitching by this fan base about the trade/release of Gonzo. Now all ready on the radio today I started to hear the eventual roar of "releasing LJ regret." I would like to know if their is any one else out there that is tired of hearing this. Look Gonzo didn't want to be here! He bitched for 3 years about being traded. He wasn't run out of town he was givin what he wanted. Can you just get over it. And as far as LJ goes he was a cancer. Neither of these guys would be able to play by the time this team is ready to compete. So please I ask of you(and by the sound of chief fans lately it will be very few of you) please, please, please, pledge to get the **** over Gonzo and LJ.

Rausch 11-09-2009 09:36 PM

Trading Gonzo was a ****ING HUGE mistake.

Keeping LJ was a huge mistake.

milkman 11-09-2009 09:38 PM

Hell, I never had a problem with trading Gonzo.

I might have a problem with wasting the pick we got for him.

Is celebrating LJ's release a problem?

GloryDayz 11-09-2009 09:39 PM

Well, it's getting tiring that our quality players, sooner or later, give up and don't want to be here. Cancer or cheerleader, it's time that these "great" players do what other team's great players do, and inspire the kids around them to produce...

No I have no problem with celebrating the release of LJ. I have a huge problem with the Haley/Pioli were mean to LJ crowd.

ncCHIEFfan 11-09-2009 09:42 PM

Absolutly brother!!!

Gonzo NEVER did this. He was/is a great TE. He was never a leader.

I hereby pledge to not bitch about the Gonzalez trade or the release of LJ.

That wasn't hard for me to do at all.

REP. See people it isn't that hard.:D

One guy was a Hall of Famer who gave everything to this Town he possibly could.

The other guy was a whiny underachieving loser who liked to hit women.

How could we not feel differently about them?

Well he went to the wrong team then. Just because the falcons are better then here doesn't make them a superbowl team.

Gravedigger 11-09-2009 10:13 PM

You'd think that people would realize that telling people not to bitch about something just doesn't work in many aspects of life. If you told your girlfriends not to complain about anything... where would the difficulties of life be?

I don't have a problem with people saying Gonzo was good, it's just the constant crying about Pioli trading him that I can't stand.

LJ can leave, but I'll never be happy that TG is gone, especially with those third string scrubs we have at TE now.

It's a...vocal minority.

Reaper16 11-09-2009 10:19 PM

I'll bitch about Pioli all day long... but not about either of these moves.

yes...Trading Gonzo (though he wanted it) was a mistake
signing LJ long term with too much upfront...was stupid

Well, since LJ's gone, I suppose we'll all have nothing to talk about except our tidal wave of wins that are on the way! Oh, that's right, that's not going to happen either!!

First, realize that the people that are content that LJ is gone, aren't going to make much noise.

The guys you will hear from are the guys celebrating his release, or the ones who think that this is just a continuation of this regime not handling talent well.

Personally, I am happy LJ will never play another down for the Chiefs. However, I think he should have rotted away on the inactive list.

I don't think this team is handling talent well, and I think that Haley is in over his head.

I do think that this is another symptom of that root cause. Not because LJ will be missed.... but rather because LJ should have been cut in the preseason, the offseason, or forced to ride the pine. Now, he gets the best of everything. He is still 'Cakn Patna' AND he can sign with another team.

wild1 11-10-2009 08:35 AM

It doesn't matter how successful Larry Johnson is, I'll never wish he was back on our team.

I may someday wish we had a productive running back, but I'll never wish that running back was Larry Johnson.

Demonpenz 11-10-2009 09:24 AM

It's easier not to bitch when you tell yourself the chiefs are a horrible franchise. Then you expect dumb moves.

big nasty kcnut 11-10-2009 09:32 AM

I hereby pledge to tell you that tony trade was all carl peterson fault. Damnit carl.

CHENZ A! 11-10-2009 11:26 AM

I'm glad we traded Tony, and I'm glad we cut lj

Very true, in fact he was very selfish, the anti-leader.

But I will never get over the trading of Jared Allen. It could have been worked out, but Carl's ego wouldn't allow it.

**** Lj, he should have been shit canned a few years ago.

I'm like most, I'd like to see him get a ring, but I'd like the players to, one day, sound as worried about their fans having a SB team as we are about certain players getting a ring. When will the fans matter enough for one of the Hunts to put a winning product on the field. It seems like that's just too much to ask..

Meanwhile, across the parking lot......

teedubya 11-10-2009 02:26 PM

I miss Jared Allen. I hated that deal... still do.
