I'd like a pledge from chiefs fans.
I'm ****ing tired of the crying and bitching by this fan base about the trade/release of Gonzo. Now all ready on the radio today I started to hear the eventual roar of "releasing LJ regret." I would like to know if their is any one else out there that is tired of hearing this. Look Gonzo didn't want to be here! He bitched for 3 years about being traded. He wasn't run out of town he was givin what he wanted. Can you just get over it. And as far as LJ goes he was a cancer. Neither of these guys would be able to play by the time this team is ready to compete. So please I ask of you(and by the sound of chief fans lately it will be very few of you) please, please, please, pledge to get the **** over Gonzo and LJ.

Trading Gonzo was a ****ING HUGE mistake.
Keeping LJ was a huge mistake. |
Hell, I never had a problem with trading Gonzo.
I might have a problem with wasting the pick we got for him. Is celebrating LJ's release a problem? |
Well, it's getting tiring that our quality players, sooner or later, give up and don't want to be here. Cancer or cheerleader, it's time that these "great" players do what other team's great players do, and inspire the kids around them to produce...

I hereby pledge to not bitch about the Gonzalez trade or the release of LJ.
That wasn't hard for me to do at all. |

LJ deserved to get FU in an alley outside a club. |

One guy was a Hall of Famer who gave everything to this Town he possibly could.
The other guy was a whiny underachieving loser who liked to hit women. How could we not feel differently about them? |

You'd think that people would realize that telling people not to bitch about something just doesn't work in many aspects of life. If you told your girlfriends not to complain about anything... where would the difficulties of life be?

LJ can leave, but I'll never be happy that TG is gone, especially with those third string scrubs we have at TE now.

yes...Trading Gonzo (though he wanted it) was a mistake

First, realize that the people that are content that LJ is gone, aren't going to make much noise. The guys you will hear from are the guys celebrating his release, or the ones who think that this is just a continuation of this regime not handling talent well. Personally, I am happy LJ will never play another down for the Chiefs. However, I think he should have rotted away on the inactive list. I don't think this team is handling talent well, and I think that Haley is in over his head. I do think that this is another symptom of that root cause. Not because LJ will be missed.... but rather because LJ should have been cut in the preseason, the offseason, or forced to ride the pine. Now, he gets the best of everything. He is still 'Cakn Patna' AND he can sign with another team. |
It doesn't matter how successful Larry Johnson is, I'll never wish he was back on our team.
I may someday wish we had a productive running back, but I'll never wish that running back was Larry Johnson. |
It's easier not to bitch when you tell yourself the chiefs are a horrible franchise. Then you expect dumb moves.
|
I hereby pledge to tell you that tony trade was all carl peterson fault. Damnit carl.
|
I'm glad we traded Tony, and I'm glad we cut lj

But I will never get over the trading of Jared Allen. It could have been worked out, but Carl's ego wouldn't allow it. **** Lj, he should have been shit canned a few years ago. |

I miss Jared Allen. I hated that deal... still do.
