Don't get why everyone is so happy...

Watching that game (with two horrendous, god awful teams) made me, and continues to make me want to gauge my eyes out.

Red Dawg 11-15-2009 07:26 PM

God forbid this board one happy evening.

kcchiefsus 11-15-2009 07:27 PM

Whatever, a wins a win. I just want us to not get quite such a draft pick so we don't have to pay so much and so we can draft the best possible player without having to worry about paying too much for a certain position.

Param 11-15-2009 07:27 PM

Change the channel?

DaneMcCloud 11-15-2009 07:27 PM

While it's true that both teams suck ass, I'd rather see the Chiefs win any day of the week over the Raiders.

And man, were you right about Carson Palmer. He really sucks!

the Talking Can 11-15-2009 07:27 PM

we won

that's the whole point...the only point

it's ok to be happy for 3 minutes....you can be angry 3 extra minutes tomorrow to mke up for it...

So the Chiefs are officially the Royals now?

kcxiv 11-15-2009 07:28 PM

It was the Raiders, **** it. We all know the team sucks, but its the Raiders.

Or being able to trade down for more picks...... who wants a top 5 pick in a trade down........... verrrrrrrrryyyyyyyy few teams

chief52 11-15-2009 07:28 PM

It is called winning... The Chiefs are not good enough to worry about "winning pretty".

Enjoy the win!

KcMizzou 11-15-2009 07:29 PM

Dude. Let us enjoy a rare victory.

Trust me, we know. No need for the reminder.

No. I just would rather not have a top 3 pick again. I really don't see a player I want to pay $70 million to this year.

I will be happy this week even though we had costly turnovers and still couldn't do much offensively until late in the game. I'm pretty sure that next week at this time it will be business as usual here on ChiefsPlanet.

Hootie 11-15-2009 07:30 PM

I am pretty happy about my fantasy prowess with these spot starts!!!

kcchiefsus 11-15-2009 07:30 PM

On another note, the Falcons lost again putting them at 5-4. By my count they have 4 more games that they very well could lose.

It would suck to have Eric Berry.

God forbid, this board have some perspective. It was a W and every Chief fan should feel good. It was against the hated Faiders, so every Chief fan should feel even better. But some of the stuff....just over the top.

Why did you not start Conner Barth? Fail.

Well to be fair it is a PPR league with some pretty crazy bonuses, but I had been riding Schaub and traded Kevin Smith for Calvin Johnson because I was expecting Beanie to break out...I played Betts over Tomlinson which ended up being a sideways move.

Chris Johnson has been carrying me this year. I should have known to start Stafford over Brees against the Rams. I'm so stupid!

Hootie 11-15-2009 07:36 PM

I was only cheering for victory because I don't want another god damn top 5 pick...please...7-10 area.

CaliforniaChief 11-15-2009 07:39 PM

Winning is more important than the higher draft pick, IMO...then you don't have to plunk down $30 guaranteed money to a guy who's never played in the NFL.

DaWolf 11-15-2009 07:40 PM

I will ALWAYS be happy after a win over the Faiders...

Hootie 11-15-2009 07:42 PM

I'd love a win if it was a win I could be proud of...we still played like absolute nutsack...we just faced JeMarcus Russell and didn't blow it this time.

The Bad Guy 11-15-2009 07:44 PM

I think some of you wish we could lose every game so you can be pissed off forever.

kstater 11-15-2009 07:45 PM

Seriously? Why are people happy after a win? Are you ****ing kidding me?

This. *sigh*

Yeah, it wasn't pretty... but our favorite team isn't very good. So yeah, seeing a win was pretty damned nice.

Dottefan 11-15-2009 07:51 PM

I`m glad the Chiefs wooped the Raiders any day, draft pick status be damned.

Wins don't make me want to "gauge " out my eyes.

Easy for me to say, though. I didn't have to watch.

Or mays. Either of them would be a HUGGEEEE upgrade. I'm fine either way. Trade down a little for Mays... that'd be good. hahaha trading down.

Anyways, I was thinking we could draft one of those little grabby mechanism's that's normally something like a shark. Then our FS could use it and guard both sides of the field and that shark would cover better than Mike Brown.

WhitiE 11-15-2009 08:08 PM

ummm let me think..... because we ****in won! a win is a win is a win. the W column doesnt show score or excitement of the game it shows a W and now we have 2.

|Zach| 11-15-2009 08:10 PM

I just have no idea why some would spend so much time around something they didn't enjoy.

Yeah, I didn't feel compelled to head up to the bar to watch. I did family stuff and banked good will for future Sundays.
