No, it's irrelevant. It has little to do with how the Saints were getting incredibly lucky breaks against mediocre teams in order to go 13-0.

The Saints are a pretty good team, one that's comparable to the typical 11 or 12 win team you see every year. But the idea of them being an undefeated team or comparable to say the 99 Rams was silly.
