I used to think that. Then I move here and discover I can sleep an extra hour before football starts.

See... the wife wants to go to church at 11 so it would only mess with my schedule. As it is I go to church at 11, get home around 12:30 or so and start watching the game off DVR. I can usually make it until the mid 3rd Q before I catch up to live play and go from there.

Its a nice arrangement.

I'm in Philly for the night with my parents and I brought my fiancee. She's the only sober one. Poor thing.

FAIL story:

Get to Slick Rick/Too $hort & Kraddy[dubstep] concert with a friend and his gf. Didn't buy the ticket online in time, so it cost $10 more[$50] at the door. Within 5 min of getting in the club, go to bathroom for a dip of Molly my friend had. Get into stall, dip into my mouth, bouncer apparently followed me in, popped his head over the other stall, shouts HEY! , I drop it in the toilet [$40], he searches me, finds nothing, but escorts me out and writes my name down in his notepad so I can't come in.

I figure whatever, at least I didn't get arrested, and I had a girl texting me across town telling me to meet her. I take a cab to her [$7], she's blacked out drunk and falling over nonstop. Wait in line for 30 min with her and her friends, but she falls over in front of the bouncer at the door and we weren't allowed in.

Wait another 10 min for a cab, and take it back to her apartment. [$26] Realize in the cab I left my keys at friends apartment, they're still at the event I supposed to be at, on drugs, my car is 10 blocks away, girls car is downtown, and she's passed out in bed.

It's 11:30, I have no keys, alcohol, weed, car, computer, and I'm sitting on her couch sober. Happy ****ing New Year.


Cliffs: kicked out of concert, take cab across town to meet girl who's too drunk to get in club, take cab back to apt, she's thrown up and passed out, I'm sober, and out about $125. Happy NYE!
