To the 4 Horsemen....
You guys are some of my favorite posters here... I just want to console you on this victory today... I know it hurts and your pissed beyond words at Haley for not scoring eleventybillion points...
But Haley in all his stupidity, took 22 guys off the street and doubled Herms win total while knocking the Donkey bitch ****s out of the playoffs, you guys can at least smile... I feel for you guys and would be honored to buy you all a round of cold beers followed by your favorite shot. Have a great new year! This offseason is going to be a blast... Chiefs football is back! |

I haven't been on today, but I noticed Mecca is absent after this win, which is a huge surprise. Must be shoveling his driveway or something.

You guys will twist anything to fit your narrative, all some of us hear is 'bring a take', 'bring a football opinion', 'cant we have a conversation?' yada yada... but what often happens when someone does, they get an eyeful of ****tard, idiot, moron, ****stick. Be honest, when you guys say 'bring a take', you mean bring your take. |

I think we won in spite of Haley today. Fantastic victory. Happy as hell it happened, and I love to put the screws to the Donkeys. That said, this game NEVER should have been close. Please, explain where and how I'm wrong and how Haley's management of today's game contributed to the win. I'll start: loved the aggressiveness on the first series. But, in typical Haley fashion, he's not prudent and logical with his approach. Castille, FTW. Castille on the carry inside the 10. **** that Charles guy. Just be glad that Denver's QB is as incompetent as our own. |

It is perfectly normal for him to be absent after games around here though. He usually doesn't post at all in every thread after losses. |

So, this win is more due to McDaniels losing it than it is us winning it? Color me surprised with that take. |

Leads you to wonder what his passes looked like in practice. |
BTW guys, this thread is meant for some good fun poking at some of my buddies... Dont turn this into a pissing match thread...
Enjoy the win and lets look forward to a great offseason.... |
The butthurt is strong in this thread.

I agree on the playcall with Castille. And I have been critical of Haley this year as well. Is there more today, or are we getting that bent over one playcall?

Ok, Haley had 2 questionable calls... but if Castille had seen the triple coverage on Cassel & just ran it for 3-4 yards, it wouldnt be this giant, end of the world blight on his record that its being trumped up as. Haleys game management today was just fine IMO (you're welcome to yours i dont care)... i come to that conclusion because we ****ing won! and anytime you win or lose, the head coach has a LOT to do with it. Are you honestly saying his coaching skills had nothing to with it? that we coulda just had that guy in the stands in the DT jersey get the team ready this week, call the plays & steer the ship today? But thats fine, the negatives here arent going to ruin my day or my Chiefs experience anyway. |

This thread is going to devolve into an a completely stupid argument. It's gonna be great. But Chiefsplanet is better than ever! Haha...

Denver gave the Chiefs a gift horse by not playing Marshal/Royal/Scheffler and any team would have done what the Chiefs did. Make Orton win it. He couldn't. He actually made DJ look competent. |

The pass by Castille was stupid, the play call was obviously called because they had run it with success in practice. That fault on that play is not on the coach. It's on the player. |

Giving up 13 catches to Gaffe-ny doesn't bother me. After the first defensive series it looked to me Pender was not going to be beaten by the run. Carr had lots of trouble for sure, but the game plan was "Make Ortard beat you".
He couldn't. And not using three of their best playmakers was most certainly a gift horse. |
"You hate it when the Chiefs win"!
Well gee, with head up ass threads like this, and people who suddenly believe all sins of dumbassery by the Trifecta Of Fail are magically forgiven with a win in a 4-12 season, how could we NOT love it when the Chiefs win? I'm joining the club. Give me second here to get my head up my ass......there! Mi'm now wonna' wing awong with wou.... "WAWAWAWAWAWAWA...WIII WAN'T WEEEEEAAAAR WOUUUU...WAWAWAWAWAWAWA"! |

dude, this thread is a waste of time..some people are going to use every decision, game and play to find a way to discredit..it's the approach some choose to embrace, it isn't gonng change....it is what it is...
....that said, if and when the Chiefs do win a SB , that approach will make it anti climatic...it would be like dogging my daughter's choir for years, then being excited for her when they take first in State. |

because many great teams have said they were like a family. ESPN has tried to make this game about the individual, rather than team...ever hear married couple seeing themselves a team? I don't think it's a coincidence that the biggest bashers don't have any children. |

My connection to the Chiefs--whatever the hell this means--will never remotely be on the same level as what I have with my family. Frankly, I could care less what kind of people the players and FO folks are. I want results. It's a business, and I like high-quality products. It's NOT personal in any respect. |

Your boy sucks. Sucks worse than even I could have ever imagined, and I can imagine quite a bit. When it comes to Matt Cassel and Doomy3, I feel NO shame. None whatsoever. Never have, never will. And if my presence annoys you, what more could I ask Jesus for? Well, it appears my horse is off to a Wild Card, and shall not be the rook responsible for breaking a tradition set by Sirs Flacco and Ryan. Ta ta!4321 |

...it's a game..you call it a business, so you can claim it isn't personal, while you invest your personal time on a daily basis. |
I used to feel that connection. When I was a kid and guys like Jim Tyrer and Mo Moorman would come to the Chiefs Huddle Club.
And I probably still have that connection for the old time players. In todays NFL, it's just cheering for laundry. |
Quote:
But alot of people including Deez were pissed when he did it as they should be. So it is personal to some degree. |
