Going to be another tough game. If MU can polish up their offensive slop from the last game we got it. If they play like they did at TTU it might be a long day.

Cant wait...2 road wins in a row would be very very impressive. Then we have Nebraska @ home, a chance to go 4-0 going into Allen Fieldhouse.

and it's be more than we expected from this team.

This team's style of play makes them a LOT better than people think. They look at us and go, "Who do they have now that Carroll is gone?" But they forget about the sheer conditioning and endurance of the Tigers. There's been more than one coach who has had to go deeper on their bench than with any other team. We see players who only play against us, because the rest of the team is worn out!

I'm not saying they're the best in the Big 12 or anything like that. What I am saying is they're good. They play their hearts out, and when they're hot they're glowing (K-State). When they're cold they can still make up for it with their hustle and drive (TT).

Plus, I WHOLEHEARTEDLY believe the teams who wear you out always do better as the season progresses. Its teams who play with the intensity of Mizzou that end up going places in the tourney.

As long as our perimeter shooting is good. Otherwise, missing FT's will be the death of us.

You have to hit free throws. This is college fucking basketball. You need to be able to hit the open shot, PERIOD. You don't have to go all Duke and be total perimeter shooting, but you need to hit a 15-foot fucking shot, especially when no one is allowed to block you!

There are a few things you HAVE to do to win a college game. One is free throws.

They've been beaten at their own game the past two games... and still come out with two wins. That's a great sign.

We will need to play better than we did last game but I think we win this one.

Oklahoma is not a well coached team.

I really think Texas Tech finishes ahead of OU in the standings. OU might have more athletic talent, but TTU is MUCH better coached (and has some very nice players in Singletary and Roberson).

OU is horribly coached. Quin Snyder-bad coached. It's a lazy, undisciplined defensive team that plays selfish offensive basketball and turns the ball over way too much.

Anyway, great shot to move the conference record to 3-0 tomorrow.

Mizzou by 6. I would like to see Tiller and Taylor stand out a little more in this one. Didnt like seeing them fouled out at the end like against Tech.

Took a lead into half, which is normally a great sign for MU because of their depth.

At the same time, I'm not liking how this game is going. These guys should be up by 10 right now but they're letting OU hang around.

It honestly has the look of an MU home game. MU gets roped a little bit but hangs around and hangs around and by the end of the game they've gone on a run and they pull out a comeback.

I just hate letting a talented squad stay in the game on their home court when we should've put a boot to their throat by now.

OU is a Quin Snyder team, not a Mike Anderson team.

They need to stop the quick and sloppy shots. Move the ball around. If you miss a good open 3 then that is life. But quit just throwing the ball at the rim with 25 on the shot clock

Safford needs to stop taking jump shots. They aren't falling today. I hope we give Denmon more looks in the second half.

Unfortunately, I think asking a Mike Anderson team to do that is like asking a Gary Pinkel team to work the play clock or line up in the I on 3rd and inches. It's just never going to happen for some reason.

I think part of this is the lack of energy from OU. It really is slowing down MU, by design or otherwise.

Not good start to the 2nd half

Tiller has killed us this year. He has been horrible with the ball in his hands.

He's been absolutely horrid.

Other than a few clutch shots by Taylor (which are admittedly huge), our SR guards have been the weak link on the team.

Terrible play by our guards has destroyed us today. Poor shot selection, slow passing.

Take away the first 5 minutes of this game and the Tigers have looked like absolute !@#$.

Example # 3,214 - Bowers just took a contested two pointer from as far away as you can take it without being a 3.

If you're going to take a shot on the outer edge of your range, you might as well take a step back. Instead Bowers took the highest risk, lowest reward shot he could've in that situation.

It's just been poorly executed basketball.

Do we get to take away 5 mins of their play as well? Or do we only get to make anti MU comments like that.
