Free Agency ... Here's who we need

Dunta Robinson.... Then draft Berry and our secondary is ****ing awesome !

Karlos Dansby..... Fixes our LB position

Willie Parker... Young still and should come on the cheap

I want Sproles also.

BossChief 03-03-2010 08:08 PM

Gimme one of these:
Dansby
Peppers
Rolle
Sproles

and two or three of these
Sean Jones
Chester Taylor
Thomas Jones
Bobbie Williams
Stephen Neal
Tully Banta Cain
Kevin Mawae

Im sure Im missing a guy or two that I like, but that would make me happy.

Red Coater 03-03-2010 08:09 PM

The Skins r going to drive the prices way up on all the good F.A.'s

MahiMike 03-03-2010 08:11 PM

Maybe if we go to Costco we can get some cheap.

bowener 03-03-2010 08:15 PM

I'd like to see the Chiefs sign Rolle and draft Berry. That would be pretty sweet. It would be amazing and impossible, but also signing Robinson would give us possibly a top5 set of DB's.

Throw in Dansby and I JIMP and die.

Yeah , I know, but that list clark ain't payin for that shit. Dansby we really need if he's willing to spend any money at all and dunta and Parker are affordable and fill major needs.,

Red Coater 03-03-2010 08:21 PM

:DDansby and Rolle, It could happen. I hope we spend some money this year.

MahiMike 03-03-2010 08:24 PM

Dansby and Boldin. Keepin the AZ connection alive.

TEX 03-03-2010 08:28 PM

I'm NOT in favor of signing Dunta Robinosn. He USED to be one of the top cover CB's but he is NOT the same player he was before his injury - not physically or mentally. He is a ME guy. Don't want any more of those on this team.

BossChief 03-03-2010 08:33 PM

One thing for sure, we need to offset the fact that we have nobody on our roster from before 2005.

Taking Sims, trading a first for Dick V, trading a 2nd and 3rd for Trent, a 2nd for Surtain...this is our chance to rectify that in a way and I hope they take advantage of it.

Just because he wrote "PAY ME" on his cleats? Pretty big assumption on your part there, he's prolly got kids to feed. /sarcasm

do you know how much insurance is on a ferrari mother ****er?

Nightfyre 03-03-2010 09:16 PM

Dansby.
Sure, Robinson brings a lot to the table, but we have a more than adequate CB situation.

Mr. Flopnuts 03-03-2010 09:18 PM

The more I'm reading about Robinson, the more I'm happy with our current corps and the prospect of finding someone else if necessary.

OnTheWarpath15 03-03-2010 09:24 PM

Neal is the only guy on any of those lists that has any chance of ending up here.

this.

Id like to add that if we added a playmaking free safety to play over the top of Carr, he will excel and seem on the surface to have taken the next step. I think he could make a few probowls if that happens.

If we pass on Berry and Clausen for any reason except to get "Eli Manning value" in return, I will be beyond disappointed.

Micjones 03-03-2010 09:40 PM

Antrel Rolle, Darren Sproles, Ben Watson, Julius Peppers...

Mr. Laz 03-03-2010 09:41 PM

Draft:
S Eric Berry
NT Terrance Cody
OLB Jerry Hughes
C Matt Tennant
WR Denarrio Alexander

Free agency:
S Antrel Rolle
RB Darren Sproles
ILB Karlos Dansby
TE Ben Watson

Micjones 03-03-2010 09:43 PM

I'd like to see us snag both an ILB and an OLB in April.
Give me Rolle in FA though. And hopefully Berry or either Nate Allen or Chad Jones.
An NT like Troup or Cody would be nice as well.

Titty Meat 03-03-2010 10:08 PM

Kevin Walter & Chester Taylor would be cool.

mcaj22 03-03-2010 10:19 PM

I think Kevin Walter could be a real sleeper. I remember him being able to catch the ball before all those injuries.

Nightfyre 03-03-2010 10:29 PM

I also would like to point out that signing Dansby possibly eliminates a candidate whom I would rather not draft at 5.

Titty Meat 03-03-2010 10:30 PM

I heard Dansby wants 30 mil guarnteed.

What would the ILB at number 5 pick command? Its like getting a sure-fire draft pick (granted for the twilight half of his career) at the same price and getting to keep your pick. That's having your cake and eating it too!

Theres no ILB in the draft worth 30mil. I'd love to sign Dansby but I doubt that'll happen.

Hog Farmer said this a year ago. Now he wants Sproles. hhhhmmmmmmmmm

That's awesome. I hope we do a Ditka and get Berry and then trade away the rest of the picks because he's just like Ricky Williams. You don't need anyone else on the team to kick ass. Berry is an exponential version of Chuck Norris that is 23 minutes into a 80% heart rate workout on the eliptical machine. There is no need for any other players on the team at that point. We will be reaching maximum everything and the world will implode and all that will be left is Eric Berry standing in a shimmering globe of his own energy as he absorbs the universe in his omnipotent state of grandeur.

Tribal Warfare 03-04-2010 08:44 AM

Antonio Bryant, liked him since he was playing for Pitt in college

Apparently Sproles isn't going anywhere.
