Need 7-10 Flip Video Reburbished Cameras Cheap! Any suggestions?

Hi,

We offer customers a free FLIP video camera if they create a video testimonial about doing business with us.

Video customer testimonials build GREAT credibility to place on a web marketing site. If you are interested in a copy of the marketing letter we use; please send a PM.

We are looking for 7-10 more.

Any suggestions?

Tiger Direct has non-HD 120min Flips for $79. 640 x 480. Is that 30fps?

Would prefer HD.

Thanks

I suggest you tell your customers they are getting the cheapest refurbs you can find. It would be a GREAT way to establish credibility.

Other than that, I got nothin'.

By your simple logic, I should go buy the most expensive video cameras on the market!

Thanks for playing, but your comment is worth "nothin"

have a fun weekend.

Did you state they were refurbs? I think you'd leave a pretty sour taste in my mouth as a consumer if you advertised you were giving me a flip video camera in return for my testimonial, which will only bring you more business and it turned out to be a low end refurb that broke in 2 months.

agreed...if you can't pay $150 for a customer testimonial that you intend to use for marketing, you need to reevaluate your strategy.

I disagree entirely.

Deliver what you promise, nothing more is required. Looking for input on how to minimize costs is perfectly reasonable.

Sending them something with a giant red "refurb" sticker on the side would make you look bad but sending them most anything short of that is reasonable.

That you want them to be HD rather than not demonstrates that you aren't looking to cut corners, just costs.

Perfectly reasonable.

Hummmm.....good points!!

OK, I heed to the collective wisdom of the CP.

Any ideas where to buy NEW FLIP video cameras cheap? Anybody have a cousin who has a bunch that "fell off the back of the truck" :)

Seriously, one of our marketing people says www.bizrate.com is the best search. Anybody have a better place?

thanks!

Are these testimonials or "reviews" you are looking for? If you are providing cameras for reviews, that is a big no-no and all of your reviews will be revoked, if they find out.

And onsite testimonials now, are virtually worthless. Crowdsourced, un-bribed testimonials have way more intrinsic value to potentially new customers.

And don't take your girlfriends to firehouses.
