Guess Google's #1 Topic By Letter

I was poking around with searches on Google Chrome and was looking to see what the first search suggestion was for each letter of the alphabet.

I thought I would make it a game.

Anyone can play, but no cheating please.

Guess the top suggested search term when each letter of the alphabet is typed into google.

Edit: Also, does it matter where one lives? I know that my Safari Google bar seems to pull info based on where I am searching.

So I realized that on a few of the letters, my search box was modifiying my suggestions for me (o=office depot, p = pima community college), so I'm skipping those.

I googled the topic and found someone else listing the top 10 for each letter so I'm going to use the list from this site as the official answers. They are mostly the same, but it avoids the confusion.

And O is Obama.

Same here with Firefox, I type in 'o', and the first thing that comes up is Omaha World Herald. I'm guessing that doesn't happen in Kansas City.

That was sort of what I was asking in my question. In the past, Safari has kept my searches somewhat local. You may have to consider that.

Yeah, I think it's not exactly "local" as it is adaptive based on your search history. The list I'm using now is clearly a true and unmodified list.

I have noticed that occasionally things will pop up that I've previously searched for, but I've never googled Omaha World Herald. If I'm looking for something from them I just go directly to their website.

Nope.

Q is a tricky one. Depending on where I look, it's either #1 (my search results, I'm a qwest customer) or #7 on the list I found online (ie, "the answers").

The problem is that #1 for Q will never be guessed because I think it's a product of the fact that it's a 2008 list.

Quantum of Solace.

I'll go with the #2 in both lists which is identical. And it's not Qwest.

I would have said no, but the #1 according to the list I have is "Jennifer Hudson" so I think it's obviously from a period during which Jennifer Hudson's family was killed. #2 is JCP, so we're going with that.

Good job.
