Also, Gordon in the lineup today hitting 8th. Let's eagerly anticipate him striking out on breaking balls off the plate and in the dirt.

i will eagerly await gordons next stint on the dl. that may be all we can expect from him, well except what you said but id rather not see any more of him if thats what we get

Depends on if their gun is juiced. It was obvious the K's gun was juiced... Meche was ringing it up there at 97 in his first start. Soria, Greinke and Davies were all throwing pretty hard too. I think a lot more places are doing that now that a lot of scoreboards put the pitch speed up there.

In ultra slow motion you can barely tell the tag was in time. I wouldn't be pissed if it was a Royal that was safe. That was very close.

The ball to Betancourt was one of the deceptive times where it looks like he's made a great play.

But really it's a product of his lack of lateral range and is a routine play for a higher-quality ML SS.

If Betancourt is diving/sliding for a ball, most shortstops are playing it with a backhand.

One was a tough play by Yunni that pulled Butler off the bag. Legit hit. The next was a bad throw by Gordon that pulled Butler off the bag, error. The next was a ground ball to Butler that hit the bag and popped over his head, legit and lucky hit.
