McCluster and Arenas certainly will get lots of Kickoff returns...

Since our defense will most likely blow complete ass...

At least we can get a lot of kickoffs this year. Probably won't need a punt returner though.

We are gonna get run on harder than condoms in Vancouver during the Olympics.

I see a record coming!

L.A. Chieffan 04-24-2010 12:55 PM

Eric Berry will play up in the box and nobody will make it past it him.

Plus hes fast enough to drop back and intercept any pass attempted on the field. And then he'll block the punt and run it back for a TD.

Every time.

RustShack 04-24-2010 12:55 PM

The problem with our defense was the DL.. its common for unexperianced DE's to play like rookies. And we didn't have a NT. We have a pretty big upgrade in Shaun Smith. His career hasn't been great, but the two years under Crennel were.. and they are back together now. Plus our secondary isn't bad at all.

KurtCobain 04-24-2010 12:55 PM

If I ever wanna go out in a blaze of glory, it'll be firing Uzis off in the Chiefs' front office.

optimism isn't allowed around here

The truth is our talent level is much greater now then it was under Herm

OleMissCub 04-24-2010 12:56 PM

I wouldn't use McCluster on kickoff returns or punt returns. Arenas is the return specialist, McCluster isn't.

But I would think McCluster can if he is asked to do so.

Dexter stated in his interview that he loves being a kick returner.

Our secondary should be awsome. I had yet to hear someone call Shaun Smith an upgrade at NT. I don't about him so.......If he is indeed a decent upgrade then our off season moves look better still yet.

Yea great idea with using a RB to play slot reciever, wait for this guy to go over the middle and that video is going to happen every time.

But that's bad gameplanning. You say the guy sucks. It's not his fault how they intend to use him.

Did I say anything bout his size? No I said once he goes over the middle, which is part of his job as a slot reciever, hes going to get lit up and cough up the ball.

He didn't have a single fumble last year in 13 games as a starting running back. That's not bad.

Nightfyre 04-24-2010 01:33 PM

I like how we drafted a player in the second round who will be lucky to survive four to five years in the league, let alone still be in the league. Especially when we could have had any number of more premier talent.

I hate this pick with a passion. If the guy is a WR or a RB it dont matter. We sure as hell didnt need a RB and if we wanted a slot WR we should of gotten an actual WR. Still think he is going to be coughing up the ball alot when he goes over the middle, just like in that video YOU posted of him returning kicks.

And the only reason you said that is because of his size. If he was 6'3 210 you would have never, ever said that. Tard.

what the hell do you base that on... he survived the SEC just fine, and he's a strong kid for his size... stop pulling stuff out of your ass just because you don't like the pick :shake:

There have been plenty of undersized guys that have had good NFL careers, Darren Sproles is 5ft 6 and 180 and he seems to be doing just fine

Quantify for me, how many 170 pound or less players (especially RBs) have been a factor in this league for more than two years total in their career.

wow, he fumbled in 2006 as a Freshman on a brutal hit. That tell us everything we need to know.

Completely disregard the zero fumbles this year as a starting running back in the most brutal league in the NCAA.

But...That means he fumble prone....Because everyone knows good runningbacks/receivers never, ever fumble the ball. Ask Adrian Peterson.
