NCAA 11 PS3 dynasty league
 

I know Lzen runs a great league for x box 360, and i just gonna first see if we PS3ers have enough interest in starting a CP league for PS3. Just let me know, if we do start one, i got dibs on Nebraska.

This League will advance on Sunday and Thursday evening, if we can advance more often than that, then so be it. But the deadline will be Sunday and Thursday evening. If your going to have issues getting your game in on the deadline please let me know ASAP.

Here are a couple rules that will be used in this, these can be debated until the league starts:

Going on 4th Down: We encourage straight play in this league, however, we do not want to limit players to the point where they cannot play aggressively. With that in mind, there will be a simple rule on 4th downs:

- Whenever you are past the 50 yard line with less than 1 yard, you are allowed to for it on 4th down.
- If you are behind by three touchdowns or more and past the 50 yard line in the second half, you can go for it
whenever you like.
- If you are the losing team in the 4th quarter, you can go for it whenever you like.

Gameplay exploitation:

-No manually moving around multiple defenders on Defense, you may control 1 and 1 only.
-Rolling out with the QB excessively, running backwards with QB, etc. Not allowed.
-Abusing certain plays/money plays.
-Fake FG and Punts apply to the 4th down rules.

Restarts: Restarts vs CPU happen. But do not make it a habit, if I notice its happening 2 to 3 times per season, then we gonna have problems.

Custom, prolly will be similar in how Lzen leagues were ran. I will have make some simple sim league rules, and then I will try to adjust the game slider a little bit also.

We do....but it's kind of a personal one with friends. No offense to anyone in this one.

There are some plays in 4 WR sets that I like to manually change 3 of the players routes. Is that abusing hot routes?

EA disabled this because it was causing games to freeze. It's happening to everyone. Also all it does is report stats for your scholl, not you.

Well, since everyone is going Big 12, I guess I should go there. I guess I'll take Texas Tech and get killed since I suck balls :)

Should we make this a big 12 only league? Or if we had a couple other try to join, they could be in the same conference together like the Sec or Big ten. That a way we could play against users in the non conference and bowl games.

I just send out the invites to every one except okcchief, it said you have set up your EA account before i am able to send you an invite. I like to advance to week 1 by Sunday at 8 pm.

joined and not a problem. I dont really understand how to recruit yet. I was messing with it for a good hour a little while ago trying to figure it all out.

I just advanced to week 1, we have one user vs user game. kcxiv vs okchief, get your recruiting done and this week game played. We will advance to week 2 on Thursday at 9 o'clock at the latest. Also, again if you have any friends that want in, let me know, the more people in this league, the funner it is.

I have deleted the guys that have not accepted the invite. Also I am thinking about having 3 users per conference. We have 3 users for the big 12 and ACC, so we need 2 for the Wac, and then if we add more we need 3 for either the sec, pac 10, or big east.

Yeah, I sent them the rules already. I told them to go in and accept tonight.

Just a warning. We may end up picking different teams when we join but we will stick with what we pick and not take anyone that has been claimed. I will update the thread if anyone decides to change teams.

I played a FCS team in the rain and turned it over 5 times lol. I still won by 4 TDs somehow.

I advanced it to Week 2, no user vs user match ups. So just get your recruiting and CPU game completed as soon as you can. We will advance no later than Sunday Evening

lol, i had the craziest game ever against Colorado. Score was 7-7 at the end of regulation. Went into OT and the score ended up something like 45-37. No one was stopping anyone from scoring. It was the wierdest thing. It was a blast actually. It made instant classic.

Half the time after the games are over, the data for highlights and messageboard stuff never download. oh well.

Hey man I'm trying to get this done right now but my PS3 wont connect to the internet. My computer is having problems too right now, every page takes about 3 minutes to load.

Also, I will be flying to the east coast from July 29 - Aug 9 and I forgot to mention that. At this point it may be better to kick me from the league and I can join for season 2, or you can just put me on autopilot.
