Pillow and Sheet recommendations
 

The pillows on my bed are completely awful. I've been waking up with my neck feeling like it was frozen in the freezer.

I'm looking to purchase a new pillow. I'd like something soft that can provide good support. Every pillow i've tried is firm and I hate firm.

Does anyone have a pillow they just love? If so, let me know the maker so I can check them out.

Also, about 5 years ago I bought sheets that were cotton sateen. They weren't a high thread count, but they were soft and silky feeling. They are awesome, but last week they ripped.

I bought a new set that were sateen, but they aren't even close to being as soft and cool feeling as the last ones.

The tags on the old sheets are faded, and I can't remember where I purchased.

Does anyone have sateen sheets like this? I gotta get another set.

I have never been able to sleep on a pillow so I can't help there but the wife gets us 1500 thread count egyptian cotton sheets and I love them.

I like the biteable kind of pillows./Buck

I really like flannel sheet/pillow case sets.

I'd rather be burned alive than sleep in flannel sheets. I sweat enough as it is.

Staple trash bags to your mattress.

The anal lube makes it like a slip 'n slide every time you get it. Always an adventure.

Maybe a feather pillow? And high thread count sheets.

Orthapedic acorn husk filled pillow.
Ask a chryopractor about it.
Got one years ago, and up until I lost it moving, most of my sleep problems were gone.

pillow ? try down or that memory foam crap. saw one with gel/mem foam.

If your room/home is air conditioned, it doesnt matter. But, yeah if its hot, they would suck.

Yeah it does matter. Flannel sheets couldn't be more useless unless you live somewhere that gets pretty damn cold in the winter.

To each his own. I've been using them for a few yrs. Love them.

If you are fat, flannel sucks unless it's less than 60 degrees in the room.

I'm fat, but I've never used them in temps over 70.

High count sheets. Mine are a sateen too, I think. Go to bed bath and beyond. Their stuff is expensive but you know it will be good.

I love firm pillows so I'm not much help there, but my wife did snag a memory foam pillow with some soft stuff (I really don't know what) around the foam. It is really pretty nice. You get soft without your head hitting the mattress. She got that at bed bath and beyond also. Don't cheap out and try to find one at walmart. They are terrible. If you fine one at bed bath and beyond, just put it in the cart and don't look at the price.

You might want to research what type of firmness in pillow is suggested for the way you sleep (back, side, etc).

Sometimes we think we know what we want in a pillow, but it's not actually ideal for our sleep position.

IKEA is known for furniture that the consumer has to put together themselves. Just asking if the consumer has to fill their own pillow as well.
