That ship was around 785 feet long, which is small by current standards (most ships going 900+). I don't know if it has stabilizers either, which do a good job of negating roll.

I was on a small "ecocruise" in Australia and we got into some rough seas. This boat didn't have a stabilization system or anything because it only fit about 50 passengers. It was bad enough that all the glasses and bottles in the bar broke. I was surprised that they didn't have their bar secured better.
