Me Likey Me Some Ryan Broyles
Yeah, I'm an OU homer, but when it comes to their players I like to think I have a pretty good idea of who can make the transistion to the next level. Broyles is the best WR of the Stoops era is probably going to be availabe around our pick in round 1.
Now assuming we don't go QB in round 1, our obvious needs are OLB, WR, and NT depth and I don't think we spend another 1st on the D-Line anyways. He seems to have the speed, hands, and a attitude to plug in on the other side of Bowe. Thoughts? |
Bump for perfect fit for this team.

He has already said he is going back to OU

It was on ESPN last week that he was staying. |
if we were to pick a WR in the first round here would be my rankings... (considering aj green does get picked up by then...)
1. Julio Jones, Alabama 2. Jonathan Baldwin, Pitt 3. Justin Blackmon, Oklahoma State If none of those work out i'd pick a OLB such as von miller Texas A&M, if that fails then go center with Stefen Wisniewski from Penn State. |
I don't understand why you guys think there is any chance the Chiefs go QB in the 1st round. Or make any attempt to replace Matt Cassel.
Cassel ended badly but lets not forget those 27 TD's to just 5 int's before entering the last week of the regular season. But maybe Tyler Palko should be the answer, sarcasm |

Yay, another slot midget with a pick a round too high.
|
Blackmon is Andre Rison.
That is all. |

He has better hands than our current midget. I'll say that for him.

FWIW, Cat, I don't know if I'd use Jackson and Smith as his comps. Those guys, as good as they are, cannot run routes. Jackson basically runs a go, a dig, or a drag. That's why he'll probably never get you more than 65 catches unless you give him WR screens out the ass.

Moot point talking about him. He's returning.

IF we dont got one of those 3 wide recievers i think i might have found a reciever that could be picked up later on in the draft(5-7).. Kris Adams from Texas El Paso This dude is 6'3'' 200 lbs... runs a 4.48 40 and is pretty good for that late in the draft... check this dude out from the arkansas game...(srry i dont know how to embed yet...)
damn it,, cant even post a link... just youtube "Kris Adams Arkansas" |

I'll take Baldwin over Jones and Blackmon. Hands, size and speed.
