It's been awhile. I swore off the Chiefs a few years ago until they canned Peterson and Squirm Edwards. I've still been following them but have avoided letting myself get too caught up. Loving what is going on. Given there isn't any really dominate teams in the NFL this year anything could happen but regardless it is nice to see a really good foundation being built. Most of us knew all along it would only take something a little better than than the worst GM in the business and getting rid of one of the worst coaches. Just two years later and the Chiefs have gone from the 2nd biggest joke(Raiders) in the NFL to a very solid team. Amazing what a little brains in the joint can do.

Congrats, I'm sure this is a lot more fun then setting around wondering when the Hunt family would wake up and run out the bullly.

It must have been nice "swearing off" the Carl Peterson era. That was probably the smartest thing to do and, in retrospect, I wish I'd followed suit. I still have horrible nightmares in which Herm is chasing me through endless, dark, and dingy tunnels with a dead porcupine in one hand and a microphone in the other screaming, "Get over it!"

First CP post for me. Ive been lurking CP for a year and finally decided to join.

i was about eleven years old when i started watching every game(2001) and in 2006 i could tell you every score and some crazy details from every game during that span. then the next year the bad losing began and games started blending together and the memories faded. i've read about games from last year that i don't remember at all, even though i watched them all.

Well I've stayed busy in the last three plus years. I kicked the old battle axe to the curb over three years ago. Got remarried in June of last year to a at the time 23 year old former college cheerleader hottie. Brought a new American Bulldog into the family(Big Daddy will like this as much as the 23 year old hottie). She is the niece of my other American Bulldog(which I had just gotten about 6-8 months before disappearing). Her name is Hogan. His name is Hagen. Bought a new house that has worn me and my wallet out. Was a new custom 6,100 sq foot home a builder was building for himself before going bankrupt during the real estate meltdown. It was about 90% done when I bought it and had to complete the rest. Finally have it all done. At the ripe young age of 38 I now have my first youngster on the way. The little lady is 3 months along. Golf game has been around the block. Played a lot and finally went and saw a really good teacher in Mesa, AZ and got the handicap down to 7. Stopped playing as much and put it back up to 10. Playing better of late and back down to 8.5. My surgically repaired and fused back led to 4 major surgeries(the first few might have happen while I was still here but the 4th happen later) and all seems to be holding up in that regard.

That about sums up my last 3 1/2 years. Attached are pics of the little lady and the bulldogs.

Wait a minute, do I have this right? You've gotten married to a hot ex-cheerleader who's related to your bulldog and her name is Hogan? Good to see you back anyway. :D
