Whoever hires this guy as their new DC is gonna make a GREAT decision.

This is the guy I wanted as our DC and his defenses have always been very good, he just isnt a HC.

Im happy that we got Romeo, in retrospect, but this guy is gonna turn a defense around somewhere.

I just hope he doesn't pop up in the AFC West.

He'd still be a better QB than Cassel.

I have no stats to back this up, but anecdotally it has always seemed to me that teams that switch coaches mid-year often win the first game afterward. I don't know if it's true, but I've noticed it.

Of course, then they lose a whole bunch after that.

One day in the near future, Phillips will coach again. He is an excellent NFL defensive coordinator.

Phillips defense is a very physical defense -- and we know that from history.

Michael Strahan was asked, Which team was the hardest hitting team he had faced in the NFL -- Michael said, the Cowboys under Wade Phillips.

Just my opinion.

He's a good to great DC.
