Going down to -2 tonight in Duluth. Why would they play a night game in December in Duluth, MN?

They're ranked 18th... looks like they had a relatively easy path to Florence, but I don't know much about them. It's 230 miles from Florence, but it's not like NW is shy about traveling there.

Bearcats: you overcame so, so much adversity to make it as far as you did. You guys overcame so many injuries. You're a team with heart, and you were beat on this night by another team with heart. Sure, the game was in Duluth, had 20+mph winds that really affected your play, had wind chills of negative 20 degrees (which REALLY affected your play), and yet you just barely lost. Bearcats, I am proud of you.

Damn, that's a tough ****ing loss. I fell asleep right after Duluth cut the lead to 13-10. It seemed like NWMSU was going to be able to handle them, but running teams just have too much of an advantage in that kind of weather.

Absolutely. Northwest's a passing team without its star TE and a beat-to-shit offensive line; the weather did not help them one iota. Mix that with QB Blake Bolles trying to force balls to Jake Soy and you've got a narrow loss.

At a slightly warmer temperature, Northwest wins that game 7 times out of 10. Maybe 8.

Bearcats are bad ass. Glad I don't have to see any National Champion T shirts at quick trip this year.
