Three reasons the Chiefs choke and miss the playoffs.
At least two of these guys are going to run all over the Chiefs.

Five bucks says we stuff all of them.
|
3rd reason?
|
Well they're black, so yeah - duh.
|
Those 3 guys all have one thing in common. None of them have a QB that can singlehandedly beat us. And that includes the rook from St. Louis.

If I'm worried about any of them.....it's McFadden or CJ.

Really?
Jackson averages 3.9 years per rush, and only have 4 tds. Johnson averages 4.4 yards per rush, has not done anything as of late, and has 11 tds this year. McFadden worries me the most. He averages 5.2 yards per rush and has 7 tds Oh, and you also forget to mention that JC is better than all three of those guys, and Thomas Jones isn't that bad either. |
Stop trying to replace Whitlock.
|
Romeo needs to find a creative way to stuff the running games while confusing the QB with different coverages. Flowers hopefully will be able to run a little faster, and Berry just needs to keep up the performance that he's done in the last couple of weeks. Pressure on Bradford, Collins, and Campbell will need to be delivered on a regular basis. But most importantly, stuff the freaking run!! No 100+ rushing games against our D in these last three weeks and I'd say it is pretty safe to say we'll win all three! :thumb:

Why dont you go look up the Chargers' rushing totals against the Raiders a week before they played the Chiefs. |
Dude, none of our remaining opponents have a good passing game. The Chargers and Broncos were much more difficult to defend because they are two of the top passing teams in the league.

After watching the last couple of Raider games it appears to me their O-line has been playing very well. Their defense has played pretty well too. This will be the game that worries me the most. They will be pretty motivated to ruin our season and complete their sweep of the AFCW. I also believe this will be the game that decides the AFCW. The Chargers will win out and so must we.
I will worry about the Rams game if Cassel isn't playing. Simply for the fact that Croyle can't win a game. I think the rest of the team will respond well after the embarassment of last weekend. Tennessee worried me more when VY was playing. Now I think we shutdown the run and the rest will take care of itself. |
Gif Horse is the kind of guy that would join The Optimist Club, then sit around at the meetings, and anytime anybody suggests anything, blurts out "That'll NEVER work!"
Thanks Little Mary Sunshine. Let's make our own karma and be positive for a change. |
What a shocking thread from GC. I would never have expected it.
|
The Rams have a losing record (despite a last-place schedule), the latter 2 games are at home, and the atmosphere at the Jones Dome will be like a home game.
I'm not worried. Unless Croyle starts, in which case all bets are off. |

The Chiefs sold out on the pass and let the Broncos run. The Chiefs were flat against SD. I agree with ChiefsNJ, Whitlock you are not. |
GC, I see your 3 reasons and raise you two more.

I don't see how a team that would be lucky to hit 500 this season
would be considered "choking" by not making the playoffs then again I look for reasons to avoid gas scalp massages with a fire rinse |

one would think...
Lets see, the Titans have the 26th ranked passing D, the Rams rank 21st worse. Oakland has the 26th worse rushing defense. WE ARE DOOMED |
No, there's one difference between Goatcheese and Fatlock

The fan in me loves to see the Chiefs make the playoffs this year. But the realist in me thinks missing it is not the end of the world. The Chiefs have already exceeded our expectation.
I look at New England and I think we will be slaughtered somewhere in the POs maybe with negative ramifications on our young team. Making the playoffs will only serve to have us pick AFTER some teams with better records than us in the draft. I might, just might, even prefer for this team to stay hungry for next year and have the best position it can get in the draft. |

Is this a Liberal approach ? Losing stinks. Does not breed confidence in young players, winning does. So you think losing now is better than losing in the playoffs.:shake: No wonder you have a hard time with politics.;) |
Here's one that might surprise you, look out for SF in SD this week. If they bring their A game they actually have a chance.

Nope. We're winning the division.
|
Quote:
If we make the playoffs it means we won the division, and have a game at home, and it won't be against the Pats. We could win a home game. That would make a team hungry even if they get stomped in the next round. Losing the lead in the division, and missing the POs will not help anything.......at all...nothing....whatsoever. |

I know thats not what you want to hear, but go **** yourself anyway. No offense. |
The Titans have a top 10 run D and the Raiders completely stuffed our running game in the first matchup.
Don't get your hopes up. |

WOW GoChiefs, you had so much potential in the early days. Your articles were written (not always the best) but from the heart and with a purpose...
Now, one cant help but laugh and  when they see you posted another article. Go back to being yourself and writing about the Chiefs. Your agenda is so transparent and shameful... A white Whitlock you are not... You had potential, you really did.... |

BTW Croyle looked good, eh? |
Quit acting like he's ever been anything but a childish attention whore.
|
Quote:
He attracts childish type people. Because his lack of responsibility, low self respect and absense of inegrity makes it difficult for a man to build a raport with him. H'e still 15 years old in his mental and social development. |

The Raiders can't handle the Arrowhead noise. they will penalize theirselves out of the game.

I like the way CP is turning in to the Coalition.
Yeah, that's just what the world needs another of. |
[GoChiefs]Look at ME!!!!! I'm an attention whore who will stop at nothing to draw the majority of attention upon myself (positive or negative). [/Gochiefs]
Look bud... You're damn good at gifs and videos. But, your childish rants and attention whoring rank right up there with Dane McCloud's immature profane laced posts. Stick at what you excell at.... |

Quite frankly, I predicted 7 wins for the Chiefs this year; they're at 8 and everything from here out is gravy. Mmmmmm... gravy. |
Whoa...whoa...whoa...........whooooooooooooa.........hold on a minute...
...are we frauds or not? |

I love how one week you're bashing Cassel and saying he's the complete failure of the franchise and then the next you're literally saying he's a god. It gets a little annoying when you can change your mind depending on what you had for breakfast. |
Quote:
I said Cassel had a good game but let's not get this twisted. I purposely avoided jizzing all over the Chiefs during their NFC West/Denver Broncos winning streak because I was deathly afraid of what was going to happen when they finally played a decent football team. And look what happened. |
Quote:
31-0 spells it out pretty clear. |
Quote:
I'm wondering... if the Chiefs win the division and win their home playoff game, but lose the following week on the road, will they STILL be frauds? |
that's right, key on stopping the run and the INT"S will come!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
|
So if we win two and San Diego drops one, we can play our backups in Oakland.
|

We don't have backups |

Three reasons the Gif Horse chokes and misses the payoff.
3. Can't get past second base with a $2 hooker. 2. Make's the 40 Year Old Virgin look like a gigolo. 1. Get's the gag reflex when you hit the back of his throat! |
