I would. We are THAT good at home this year, and pretty damn good in general this year. Better than the Titans for sure. Plus we need the game really badly, and they don't really have anything to play for at this point. I wouldn't be totally shocked if we lost, but I'd be pretty surprised.

If the Chiefs win, I think the Chargers lose. They know, at that point, the Chiefs only have to beat the Raiders. And, they know it will be in Arrowhead. I think they will play the game flat.

If the Chiefs lose, then I expect the Chargers to win. It will give the Chargers new life.

To someone who lives in a cold climate, I'm sure a gametime temp of 30 deg "isn't all that bad" but for those of us living in warm parts of the country, 30 is F'ing cold!

If it's inclimate weather in Cinci I give the Bungles a chance at the win. Rivers doesn't like to be uncomfortable. That is the biggest flaw in his game. San Diego has not played on a cold field all season. An with TO out I think the Bungles focus on football and not if TO is happy or not. Could be the edge they need.

In the previous 3 years, they've been in cities that might have been in cold weather, twice at Tennesee, and once in KC, so it's not something that you can look at and say they aren't affected by the weather.

Following up a little, the game at Tenn in '07, the temp at game time was 65.

The game at KC, gametime temp was 46.

The game at Tenn, gametime temp was 46, as well.

So, in fact, they haven't had to deal with the kind of weather they might see today.

I kept reading these responses that talk about the Chargers record in December, which people were suggesting that they hadn't been affected by weather, and living here in California and getting a lot of Charger coverage, I couldn't remember any inclement weather games they were involved in in the last 3 or 4 years.

So I had to check it out.

If I could pick a condition for the Chargers to play in, this would be it.

The Bengals are at their best when they commit to the run. Commit to it, not abandon it so they can keep their selfish receivers happy. It keeps the ball out of Palmer's hands and makes the defense better. The Bengals can most certainly beat the Chargers. I'm more concerned than anything that they won't care today. They look like they're mailing it in and trying to get draft picks.
