I recently changed my diet, I've lost a bunch of weight, but my face gets greasy. I have been taking 2 showers a day and its annoying as ****. I want something that is specifically designed for the face.

if that's the case, just get some baby soap for the face, make sure it's tearless and you'll be fine :thumb:

Funny story.

The other night I went down on a chick and when I woke up in the morning, 2 pimples that I had near my mouth were both completely dried out and pretty much cleared up that day.

I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower I use a water activated gel cleanser, then a honey almond body scrub, and on the face an exfoliating gel scrub. Then I apply an herb-mint facial mask which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an after shave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion.

Try some of the common stuff at Walmart first before going to the doctor for acne. Try some of the perfume free soap too.

NewChief 04-12-2011 06:01 PM

Once again: ignore everyone else. Try Purpose. It's cheap, and it's what most dermatologists, who aren't trying to screw you with some high priced shit, are going to put you on.

CoMoChief 04-12-2011 06:01 PM

cetaphil (sp?)

Saulbadguy 04-12-2011 06:01 PM

In all seriousness, use St. Ive's Apricot scrub, then an astrigent like Clean & clear, then use a moisturizer.

Yes. It's fine in the shower or at the sink. You can buy it anywhere (Wal-Mart, Wal-Greens, Target, etc..)

Sometimes you need to put stuff on a dry towel and rub it on....I don't know, I'm stupid, so I ask stupid questions.

Sometimes you also need to leave the stuff on for a while, which can be difficult in the shower.

Baby wipes work to if worrying about drying your skin out. I have had a few medical procedures the last few years were I wasn't able to take showers for long periods of time because of treatment that I couldn't get wet.

NewChief 04-12-2011 06:17 PM

On a related note:

What's the deal with hispanic dudes always washing their faces at the bathroom sink after taking a whiz in a public bathroom then wiping their face off with the paper towels? I see it at the high school. I see it at restaurants. I see it with blue-collar workers, and I see it with white-collar businessmen. It's like a ritual. Is this a cultural deal or what?
