Not including Montana in this poll, as I don't feel he was a retread. These 6 guys were the best of trying to plug a peg into a round hole.

I don't know how to do a poll. Maybe one of the mods can help me out. If repost, bite me. If I should just drink antifreeze while falling out of an aids tree, so be it.

Know that I am going to get flamed for this, but think CP's pick is TG, but think when all is said and done Cassell will get the job done.

It's a toss up between Green and DeBerg in my opinion.

No ****ing way it's Gannon, the guy only started like 7 games for us.

Green in terms of production but Deberg in terms of of just being one tough sob.

If you put Cassel and Grbac into the conversation, then Dawson goes into it as well, and he is the best, by far, and there shouldn't even be a debate.

Where did we get Dawson from?? In the form of a trade or as a free agent. Sorry for my ignorance. I know he was a great QB.

He was a street free agent after spending 5 years as a back up in Pittsburg and Cleveland.

I started listening to the Chiefs in the early 80's, as a child on Sundary afternoons while my parents were taking a sunday nap, or that is what they said they were doing. HA HA! I'm still at a loss how DV devalued the D so much. It bugs me to no end.

He must've thought he could score his way to the top, definitely an unforgivable mistake for a guy that'd been around the league as long as he was.

What a terrible waste of that offense.

I grew up in the UP of Michigan before landing in KC so I am a huge Michigan fan. Grbac is an embarrassment. I wish he'd have gone to OH St. Why is he even on the list?
