Okay, I've got some Chiefs stuff thats not making the cut for the move. It's going to the person who thinks they or their kids deserve the items. Or if interested, give some money to the Planet to help offset the operating costs.

You can PM me to keep it private if thats your choice.

Not interested in pocketing any money. Just giving it to a new owner who would appreciate the stuff.

Pretty much every Joe Montana in a Chiefs uniform football card.
Pretty much every Marcus Allen in a Chiefs uniform football card.
Chiefs checkers game
Special limites edition Montana card set, TV guide
Montana Paper plates
Chiefs football

CoMoChief 06-05-2011 06:04 PM

cool card collection....................how much are trading cards worth now that the video gaming industry took that market over?

All the Montana cards were worth at least a $1.00 -2.00 and some worth $5.00-10. About 1/2 that for the Marcus Allen stuff. There are sheets of those cards. I'm sure I could Cragslist it and make some money but I'd rather give it to someone who would appreciate it.

I just happen to know a guy who has a Chiefs/NFL themed gameroom and is always open to taking donations for display. :D

This. As much as Joe has opened his home to anyone who ever wanted to attend the CP Bash, he's the most deserving person on the board to collect this "donation."

All in favor? (If this turns into a poll, I'm blaming you, Bowser! :D )

BigRedChief 06-05-2011 09:21 PM

Sounds like a done deal. Everyone could enjoy seeing the Montana and Allen stuff at the bash's.

Exactly. Auction closed.

BigRedChief 06-05-2011 09:30 PM

I tell you what.....I'll thrown in the Lamar Hunt signed Chiefs football and a Derrick Thomas signed christmas ornament.

The only blemish is that it was also signed by King Carl....

LMAO

Joe is a pretty resourceful guy. I bet he has some fancy schmancy ink remover in his garage for just such an occasion. :D

A Lamar Hunt signed football. That's awesome! I've never seen one of those before. That's true history. I don't respect any owner more than Lamar, probably never will. I live in ND and still haven't made my first trip to Arrowhead. I'll have to get to one of those bashes sometime to check out all this cool stuff. Hardly anything Chiefs related up here at all.

4th and Long 06-05-2011 10:52 PM

Hopefully Joe reads this or BRC sends him a smoke. Congrats, Joe!

What will a BJ get me?

Mr. Flopnuts 06-06-2011 12:15 AM

Wow. The Lamar Hunt ball is AMAZING! But I won't be greedy. I'm good with the Junior memorabilia.

I sent him a pm.

Damn...I would've taken the Montana card set because I've been collecting since I was 10. It's cool though if Joe wants them. He was awesome at the bash.

That album probably has every football card ever made of Joe Montana in a Chiefs uniform. I'm sure Joe can part with some of the cards.

Thats a special limited edition Joe Montana card set. Short printed. About 50-60 cards from his ND days to the Chiefs. Was worth about $100 bucks at one time. No idea what its worth these days.

Damn.....that'd be awesome to have.

Sorry,1st time on the board since yesterday,it's fireworks season and you all know what that means for Pyro Joe.I'm humbled at the thought of being able to have all the great collectibles to display but BRC I can't make it to KC until after the 4th. :(

I would be happy to pay you to box it up and mail it though.

I don't know....I have no idea what a Lamar hunt signed football or a Derrick Thomas signed christmas ornamanet is worth but those Montana cards are probably worth hundreds of $'s.

Like I said I'm not interested in the money but just want someone else who would appreciate the "stuff" to get it. I'd rather the stuff not get lost in the mail. A Lamar hunt signed football would make the bash so much better than jaggerbombs.;)

Anyone want to take possesion of the stuff until Nzoner makes it through firework season?

Nzoner 06-08-2011 06:31 AM

I'll see if Phil would mind holding it for me and thanks very much, this is great I just wished I could take time to drive down now.

Done deal. Phil has agreed to hold the stuff until after the crazy season for Nzoner. This worked out great. Everyone who attends the bash will get to see the new additions to the decor.

you make it down to Florida very often? Look me up. Looks like the job is going to work out. Got 2 promotions already etc. probably not going to be a regular visitor to KC.

BigRedChief 07-08-2011 07:08 PM

Nzoner, this is the stuff Phobia has for ya to pick up. But if you are willing how about giving some Montana cards to Pestilence?
