You think your job is hard?

Try climbing every day to your worksite. 1600 feet in the air.

I can't watch that.

listopencil 06-28-2011 10:48 PM

Yeah. I think I'd shit myself before I got to the top of that.

Yeeeaaahhh...and by that I mean no ****ing way. There was one place where the dude didn't seem sure what to grab on to...and no safety lines...and those pegs he's using to climb the last section...just **** no.

DanT 06-28-2011 11:24 PM

Holy crap. What could he possibly be fixing that is worth all that?

BigMeatballDave 06-29-2011 12:26 AM

That job would have to pay close to 7 figures. Right?

I wouldn't go up there for 10million.

Dr. Johnny Fever 06-29-2011 12:31 AM

I left for 2 damn years and I know this is a repost. But I'd do the job. As long as I'm connected to the ground I'm ok.

Over-Head 06-29-2011 04:06 AM

wicked!! sign me up.

Otter 06-29-2011 08:04 AM

We used to climb them for fun. The worst part is that once you get to the top it's caked with slippery, stinky bird shit.

MOhillbilly 06-29-2011 08:09 AM

Talk to Sec......hims on vacation though.

Sofa King 06-29-2011 08:22 AM

I couldn't imagine hauling my desk all the way up there. This thing is huge.

And man is it windy up there. Papers would fly everywhere.

A lot of the time it's lightbulb replacement so airplanes don't fly into the towers. I have a friend who used to do that stuff.

No, I really don't.

tmax63 06-29-2011 09:22 AM

My next door neighbor was an electrician who took a header off a 180 tower. His climbing partner heard him say "Oh Fuc*" and looked up in time to see him miss hooking up his safety line and go over backwards. He was still alive when his partner got to the ground but didn't last until the ambulance got there.

Lzen 06-29-2011 01:56 PM

That makes my stomach churn just watching the video. No way!

blaise 06-29-2011 02:01 PM

How did the three dudes get on top of that structure in the other video?
