Chiefs vs. Bills discussion thread...
Now that the preseason is over finally, the real bullets start to fly!
Who wins? What matchups can we take advantage of? How do we matchup with their offense, defense, special teams? We must beat them. My wife's aunt is a big fan and she's as annoying as their uniforms. |
GO FIGHT WIN!
|
The Bill's/Gailey's bootleg offense is going to confuse Hicks for the 11tybillionth time.
|
The Bills are starting some **** named Donald Jones at WR.
If we don't rape them I'm gonna kill myself. |
I'm pretty sure if we don't win this game CP will explode.

Their OTs are just about the worst in the league. They're going to try and run on us early....if we don't pack the box we're stupid. |
There is no hope. Our QB's injured, Berry's injured, Moeaki's going out, Palko's gonna lead us, Haley can't put his finger on the problem, only some strange, Jamaal needs more carries, McCluster is a mirage, Bowe's going to leave via FA, Stanzi's losing confidence, and Larry Johnson's lighting it up for Miami!!!!! /CP

OK we lose and you die? I and many more hope so. |
First in with DJ or Hali obliterating the Bill's QB on a playaction pass.

The short passes out to the RB's on play action concern me. Not the screen's but those ****ing wheel routes. |
I definitely will not being getting on Chiefsplanet that night if we lose.
I think everyone had this as a for sure win all off-season, so my hope is that we smash him. |

But yes, they can absolutely burn an aggressive defense. |
We have 10 days to prepare for this team, we played them last year, we got better this offseason, they got worse.
If we lose this game, just fire Haley immediately. |

lets not act like we crushed this team last year, they played us close. I expect the same, people will be on the edge of their seats even though they expect us to beat them down

Literally no one here gives a shit about what you have to say about anything. |

If he plays even average, and the rest of the team plays up to par, we blow the Bills out. |

Like they wait to see who you call out as bad and see them go to a PB career. LOL Who was that WR? LOL Do not confuse you with facts. |

yea but their QB put in some decent preseason work for a couple of games. That accurate dink and dunk passing.
And I think they have a better defense with Nick Barnett/Marcel Dareous. If we are trying to use guys like Thomas Jones and Dexter McCluster they will be shit down |

Really!!!! I really hope anyway!!!!!! |
must spill ginger blood on the gridiron

Dareus has barely played this preseason, FWIW.

Spiller's been a big disappointment in Buffalo, but Jackson's a good player and Fitzgerald can get it done at QB.

Gingers play football? |
The Bills are playing Dareus at end in a 3-4.
Thoughts? |
i am more interested in kyle williams at NT to be honest
|
IDK - but big red 'red cream soda' is better than any other soda.
|
One thing I've learned from billszone is that Merriman is apparently looking pretty good for them.

Thigpen is a gamer, but lacks the tools to be a starting NFL quarterback.
I do find it interesting that Parcells traded a 5th rounder for him and Chan Gailey spoke up about him enough to get Tyler a nice little 3 year deal in Buffalo. The kid isnt as bad as some here say he is, but he isnt very good either. |

Hope Buffalo has a great year- Azz Get over yourself. No wonder you changed BB. They use to like you. I can see where you thought you was god. Is this Mecca. |
Quote:
TY. You are what they said you were. |

No costly turnovers and we should be alright. They are going to run and use screens. Hopefully DJ and Hali step up in that scenario and take some pressure off the offense, which seems to need it. Still won't see the actual Packer gm until it airs Sat night on NFL Network. |

Any updates on injuries? Chiefs? Bills?
I wonder when Baldwin will be ready, I'm assuming not for the opener... |

They are a decent team (compared to us). Chan knows us and that showed last season. If it weren't for a missed field goal, we would have lost that game.

The Bills will probably be improved. Meaning they'll win 5 games. They suck. You're talking about a team with six losing seasons in a row, and only one above-.500 season in the past 11. If you can't beat them at Arrowhead, just forfeit the season, LOL.
|
you guys better hope the chiefs win :D

I am worried about this game. Turnovers and stupid penalties have been killing this team all preseason. It's not going to go away in 10 days. |

And if he doesn't they will be in trouble. The Chiefs were extremely fortunate to beat the Bills last year. Luckily for that missed field goal. Luckily. |
What is going to be interesting to see is what decisions will made personnel wise regarding the offensive tackle position.
If the Chiefs decide to go with Albert and Gaither as the tackles, that would be A LOT better. On the other hand, if the Chiefs decide to go with Albert and Richardson as the tackles, then I don't think that will bode well going into week 1. My gut feeling says Merriman vs. Richardson is going to be a mismatch. Thus, advantage Bills. From what I've heard browsing Bills message boards is that Merriman seems to be impressive given his limited playing time in the pre-season and is looking back to old form. They are going to need a healthy Merriman. The Bills haven't had a player that has had over 6.5 sacks the last 4 seasons. They lack a passrush. With that being said, Merriman will be the key to their defense. Imo, the coaching staff is giving him limited playing time and preserving him to be healthy for the season opener. Don't be surprised if you see a lot of double teaming on Merriman come week 1 IF Richardson starts. Moeaki is going to have to come in and help Richardson out. That is not a good sign when your TE has to be an extra blocker it going to take away a good option in the passing game. |

Vegas has us as 6.5 point favorites.
