Peyton is one of my favorite players in the league. About as proffesional as you can be, and just fun to watch if you like seeing a guy study all week and just go to work on Sunday. Plus he actually is an athlete with a sense of timing. His commercials have always been decent.

If Manning has cervical fusion I would exspect it to be the end of his NFL days. The dude must have one hell of an agent to get his contract renewed then end his career. I find it hard to imagine he had no knowledge of upcoming surgery.

I hope he doesn't go through the surgery, sit out for however long, then come back and get is neck broken by some big 325lb jabbawocky and have to retire because of it. I'm no peyton fan but not like that.....not like that

Manning has not played yet under his new contract ... not sure he's even gotten that money yet. Surely he would have to pass a physical before getting the new money.

Yep, a week ago, which is what makes this rumor very bizarre. It's not like he's done anything to re-aggravate it... if they knew a 2nd procedure was coming they wouldn't have pulled him off the PUP.

Wow, thankfully I got Orton in Round 14 just in case Manning was still on the mend.
