In the second inning, a guy hit a line drive to Francoeur and Francoeur threw him out at 1st. That was pretty nice.

That's going to happen to Butler some day.

Probably after thinking he has a game winning hit in a playoff game with 2 outs.

So losing 7-0 but managing to not get no-hit by a 27 yr old career minor leaguer that hadn't made a start in the big leagues until this season is what qualifies as a victory these days?

Damn, and I thought it sucked to be a Cardinals fan.

That's what happens when you got a team full of kids that have no idea how to approach a pitcher they've never heard of before.

Demonpenz 09-07-2011 04:46 PM

I didn't think the guy francour threw out was going to be black

You're going to the Mountain West, Jayhawk.

Dr. Johnny Fever 09-07-2011 06:33 PM

As a ginormous KU bb fan I can tell you it doesn't even matter. We can lose to mid majors in the tourney from anywhere.
