JK DMAC ;)

Reerun_KC 10-31-2011 12:06 PM

None, They are expendable resources...

None of them are worthy enough to be considered favorites until they win a championship..

Until then, Use them up and move on to the next younger player.

HemiEd 10-31-2011 12:06 PM

Narrowing it down to five is just too difficult, so I went with guys that are suiting up tonight.

1) Albert
2) Bowe
3) Dorsey
4) Flowers
5) DJ

Of course Berry and Charles would bump that list if they were available.

whoman69 10-31-2011 12:09 PM

That was hard narrowing it to 5.

Molitoth 10-31-2011 12:13 PM

1) Bowe
2) Johnson
3) Flowers
4) Berry
5) Hali

Yeah, it was. I feel like a jackass for not having Derrick Johnson on my list.

this

kind of a toss up between Flowers and Johnson, the way Johnson's been beasting this season I had to go with him.

Bob Dole 10-31-2011 12:59 PM

Ricky Stanzi is tied with Mark Castle.

hahahahaha

1. Casey Wiegmann
- The guy has been a lynchpin for this offense for years and has never received the credit due from the fans. How was the O-line's performance when he got the boot by Herm? How's was it before and after? Guy is one of the great Chiefs ever.

2. Jovan Belcher
- In his second season out of small college Maine, the guy has great football instincts and looks to bring the lumber every hit. Plays hard every down.

3. Tamba Hali
- "Fans" around here rode his ass and predicted that he'd be just an average player at best, but he gives 100% all game every game and has transitioned remarkably well from 4-3 DE to 3-4 OLB.

4. Todd Haley
- Love his attitude, love his demeanor, love his rapport with the players. Has made All-Pro's out of Herm slackers Bowe and Johnson. These guys are playing hard for him and haven't quit, even when it looked downright grotesque to start the season. That's coaching.

5. Dustin Colquitt
- Could have been named team MVP the past three season,s and has kept the Chiefs in games that had no right being in on his leg alone.

Gotta agree here, Haley is my favorite Chief.

Willie Lanier 10-31-2011 01:23 PM

1. Eric Berry
2. Tamba Hali
3. Jamaal Charles
4. Derrick Johnson
5. Brandon Flowers
5b. Kyle Boller

Direckshun 10-31-2011 01:25 PM

I'm a nut for the front seven.

1. Tamba Hali
2. Glenn Dorsey
3. Derrick Johnson
4. Tyson Jackson
5. Jerrell Powe

There always has to be some iconic doucher that votes for them all, huh?

lcarus 10-31-2011 01:56 PM

Well mine were pretty obvious and boring. Berry, Bowe, Flowers, Hali, and Charles.

Who?

Mama Hip Rockets 10-31-2011 02:16 PM

I am surprised by how few votes Carr is getting. It seems like people on here are always saying he is better than Flowers, yet Flowers has nearly 5 times as many votes as him.

Rausch 10-31-2011 02:17 PM

I really think Asamoah can be special in time. Waiting for Hudson to take over.

And how do you not love having a young pair of CB's like the Brandons?...

Hammock Parties 10-31-2011 02:17 PM

There's Dwayne Bowe and Tamba Hali, and then there's everybody else.

They've been here the longest and done the most. I hope they retire as Chiefs.

I wanted to vote for Carr, and also DJ, but just not enough room. They get honorable mentions.

Bob Dole 11-01-2011 09:49 AM

So who wants to join Bob Dole, Dragonocho, and Mr_Tomahawk on the Studebaker Bandwagon this morning?

kysirsoze 11-01-2011 09:55 AM

I love that this was a ****ing hard decision. This team has the potential to be my favorite Chiefs team ever, if it's not already.

JD10367 11-01-2011 10:16 AM

I watched every minute of last night's game. The Chiefs have a lot of heart and talent that just needs time to develop. Even without the big three injured guys, they easily have enough left to make a strong run. Honestly, aside from Brady, Wilfork, Welker, and the two young tight ends (Gronkowski and Hernandez), I'd happily trade you anyone on the Pats for the comparable player on the Chiefs. (Although our kicker and punter are solid, but yours appear to be as well.)

I didn't vote for injured guys. As a Pats fan, if Tom Brady had Bowe to throw to, Flowers to defend passes, and Hali to rush the passer, I'd jizz in my pants from the awesomeness there would be on display at Gillette, so those were easy. I also voted McCluster, who I think is underutilized and could be a great weapon (the way Kevin Faulk has been for New England for years). My last vote went to McGraw, simply for the way he's stepped up and held the fort with Berry gone.

As a Pats fan first, the upcoming Monday-nighter against KC (which I'm attending) has now made me very nervous. As a Chiefs fan second, I'm looking forward to seeing some of these guys in action.

Umm, add Derick Johnson and Dustin Colquitt wouldn't you?

durtyrute 11-01-2011 10:54 AM

How is Todd Haley not on the list?

FAIL

melbar 11-01-2011 11:04 AM

Funny the QB gets very little love. Derrick Johnson has been key to this D and although he's doing well, not getting the love I think he deserves. Amazing what having even a decent aging Nose in front of him has done.

boogblaster 11-01-2011 11:16 AM

Hali .. DJ .. Studebaker .. Flowers .. Charles

Ryan Succop....after Halloween 2011:thumb:

the Talking Can 11-01-2011 11:35 AM

Cassel has 90 votes less than Berry, and 4 more than street FA Keary Colbert.

I'm guessing that loser pawnsmoker figured out to vote for Cassel six times...

Rasputin 11-01-2011 12:03 PM

I think it would be easier to do a least favorite and rank them. Damn love this team. Want Stanzi be our QB & exited for the return of JC, EB & TM but that's next year uhg.

Kendrik Lewis has been making picks & improving over last years play. Can't complain much of McGraw do to his lack of tallent compaired to EB expectations, but he is hanging in there and not doing that bad. I don't love the guy but am glad he is stepping up to the plate, hard void for him to fill.

Theres just a team to be happy with right now so I want to pick them all. Cassel not so much but I got to accept him too, for now. We can win games dispite his QB challenged abilities.

This was a total team effort to win a game if I ever saw one. Colbert came through with big play holy ****. Our team is digging deap to make something of themselves this year and that is what I love about the Chiefs WILL. I think there are several unsung heros in that game. Man I'm stoked

We are a young improving team, and only going get better. Am sure we will have some setbacks along the way, but we are being primed for years to come. We have become rezilient in our efforts to win and become a winning football team after the debacles from first few games. Damn strait!
