The Hate for Josh McDaniels

I'm curious as to just how much Chiefsplanet hates Josh McDaniels. What would it do to your Chiefs fandom if he's brought in as our next HC?

Poll forthcoming....

Mr_Tomahawk 12-12-2011 02:40 PM

In.

teedubya 12-12-2011 02:40 PM

in with hate. lots of it.

Bewbies 12-12-2011 02:40 PM

With a Genious building the roster like Pioli and a Genious like McDaniels running the games, what could go wrong?

bevischief 12-12-2011 02:41 PM

There will a rash of suicides...

HonestChieffan 12-12-2011 02:41 PM

How much stupid will we have to endure before we get a new HC?

This thread might provide some insights to the pulse of Chiefs' fans on the subject:

Its ironic that he was the 1st champion of Tebow before anyone else believed in him.

Hmmm... I see a few similariites, but not really seeing what you're getting at here.

**** YOU MINE HAS A POLL

durtyrute 12-12-2011 02:46 PM

I hate that ****er almost as much as Cassel

ChiefFripp 12-12-2011 02:46 PM

Out. That guy will just get caught cheating again and add insult to what will probably be a losing season.

kysirsoze 12-12-2011 02:48 PM

Kinda surprised at the early lead for "I'm out." I hate Josh McDaniels, but damn.

kaplin42 12-12-2011 02:48 PM

I hope that Pioli notes how McDouche completely destoryed the Broncos. That right there would be no way, no how, NO ****ING WAY!!!

This has pretty much been my take on the Chiefs/Huskers over the past few seasons, not gonna change until either team has made a QB change.

That's just emotion talking. If the Chiefs hire McDaniels, they'll be back, like they good little junkies they are.

vailpass 12-12-2011 02:49 PM

You only think you hate him. You don't have that deep in your bones traded cutler for orton because he wanted Matt ****ing Cassel, ran off brandon marshall, wore a godamned hoodie on the sidelines, embarassed me every Sunday never should have been a HC hate.

Completely destroyed? Aren't they 8-5 right now?

lol. would you want to be the 8-5 chiefs led by Tim Tebow?

Yeah, me either...

Kinda like last years Chiefs team led by Matt Cassel.

Next year when the Broncos are playing a First place schedule and tebow has lost some games, they are gonna get raped.

Sure. I would think that most Chiefs' fans would prefer to have Tebow over Palko or Cassel right now.

ChiefFripp 12-12-2011 02:53 PM

Converting to a Packers fan is much easier than stomaching that P.O.S.

McDaniels was allowed to have full control of personnel in Denver. He wouldnt have that in KC. He would only be the coach.

I dont know....im kind of mixed on it myself.

Frazod 12-12-2011 02:54 PM

As I said in an earlier thread, if they hire that ****ing twerp all Chiefs stuff goes into a big box in the basement until him and Pissoili are gone. It will obviously be the end of Sunday Ticket.

There would be no bigger **** YOU to the entire fan base than to have this happen.

Tribal Warfare 12-12-2011 02:54 PM

With the cheating scandal and other issues, it's going to be very very difficult sell for Pioli to convince the fanbase considering how it would effect "the culture" of the franchise.

I'm not sure even I would wish McKid on you. Or anybody.
Except Faider fan, of course.

For me I guess it would be the Bears. And I damn sure don't need Sunday Ticket for that.

:# The fans would put up another billboard except this time McKid's corpse would be strapped to it. He'd be so dead Tebow wouldn't be able to raise him.

All intents and purposes I should be a Packer fan, due to I walked Lambeau field, knew oldtime Packer players, and met Packer HOFers at a time before I reached 14 years old. The reason I'm not, I was originally raised to root for KC at the age of 9 years old.

Thank you for not saying "intense and purposes". Really.

I actually had a boss once who said, "intents and porpoises." In front of customers.

He's dead now.

OKAY...

So for those of you who would refuse to watch. What if we made the playoffs? Would you start watching then or is it a principle thing? What if we went to the Superbowl? Also, how fulfilling would a championship be if you hadn't watched the season leading up?

I realize there's almost no chance of these things, but I'm curious.

They'll all be watching from day one. Perhaps not going to as many games or buying merchandise, but I don't believe these declarations for a second.

Spott 12-12-2011 03:37 PM

I don't want any of Belichick's old coordinators. They've all failed miserably and the Pats just keep on winning without them.

That's my thought. Hell, I almost wanted to vote "I'm out." but I know I'll watch. I figure I've watched so much shitty Chiefs football, it'd be silly to stop now.

Also, let's say McDaniels somehow has a miracle season with the Chiefs and I miss it, I'd never forgive myself. That would be Burgess Meredith Twilight Zone sad.

Not watching is easy for me because it simply involves not shelling out hundreds of dollars for Sunday Ticket. If the Chiefs were actually on network TV I'd at least attempt to watch.

the Talking Can 12-12-2011 03:41 PM

McDaniels is the single biggest clown in the NFL.

No one has ever made as many insanely stupid decisions in as short a time as him. NO ONE. EVER.

HE IS THE WORST

I'm the same way, although I'd still go a little out of my way to see games when I could. Would you hop on a McDaniels led Chiefs playoff bandwagon?

Micjones 12-12-2011 03:44 PM

Failed HC. Failed OC (this year). No thanks.

rageeumr 12-12-2011 03:47 PM

I voted "I'll watch casually", although instead of "I might miss games if I have something better to do", It'll be more "I'll watch if I don't have anything else going on".

Frazod 12-12-2011 03:47 PM

I really think if it wasn't for the Cardinals I'd be in a ****ing tower with a high-powered rifle right now. This ****ing team just sucks the joy out of life. No matter who we ****ing hire, here we go, starting from scratch again. Whether it's a new quarterback or the same old Casshole, it'll be yet another brand new offense, another year for players to pick up the system, adapt, etc.

Being a Chiefs fan has always been a love/hate thing. but it's getting to be more of a hate/hate thing for me. I'm really getting tired of this shit.
