We would have won the Pitt game, maybe not the others. But, that one game may be the difference.

EDIT: might HAVE cost (gud grahmer)

007 12-18-2011 06:27 PM

in other words you think it is safe to say that Haley cost us the division.

The Bad Guy 12-18-2011 06:27 PM

Yeah, ****ing Haley.

Yes, for many reasons. But the top two are Palko and the horrible off-season preparation.

Okie_Apparition 12-18-2011 06:28 PM

Who was going to play QB?

baitism 12-18-2011 06:31 PM

I would draft a QB and let him learn under Orton. Realistically, with an upgrade at RT, another pass rusher, and Charles, Berry, and Moeaki back from injury, there is no reason we should not win the division easily next year.

The Bad Guy 12-18-2011 06:34 PM

I would have rather ran the wildcat all game than start that ****ing trainwreck Tyler Palko.

Yep. WildMidget>Falco

Quesadilla Joe 12-18-2011 06:38 PM

No. The absolute best case scenario for the Chiefs would be an all or nothing game against Denver @ Mile High and you would lose.... badly.

FringeNC 12-18-2011 06:38 PM

It's only be fluke that we have a mediocre but legit NFL quarterback right now. Cassel getting hurt plus Denver cutting Orton is the only reason.

Had we started the year with Orton...

Nothing is easy when Orton is your QB.

ROFL and it's just peaches and cream with that full back pretending to be a QB out in Pile High.

</post> 12-18-2011 06:42 PM

You could also point back to that Matt Cassel screen pass in SD

BossChief 12-18-2011 06:43 PM

If Orton was still a Bronco, KnowMos tune would be totally different.

Titty Meat 12-18-2011 06:43 PM

Let's see BossChief defend this one.

Pasta Little Brioni 12-18-2011 06:43 PM

Tebow attempted to throw his halo on his head at the end of the game today and missed.

kind of like Cassel trying to put a hat on his head

Okie_Apparition 12-18-2011 06:45 PM

How many yards did Tebow take on that sack

FringeNC 12-18-2011 06:45 PM

Buffalo at home beating Denver next week is not outside the realm of possibility.

Yeah, because I always defended his playing of Palko over Stanzi.

Geez man, your hard-on for me is getting a little strange, dont ya think?

Its like Laz talking about a drafturbator.

Everything has to be perfect for Orton to succeed. Tebow is at his best when the protection breaks down and nobody is open.

He looked good under pressure today and didn't take a sack. Remember he's smart, accurate, and a top 10 QB just like you said :):):):):):):):)

Someone should go post digging for realities sake.

WAKE UP KIDDO...it was a nice, fun run....but the magic is wearing off and you know damn well it was a big mistake to release Orton.

You used to love him.

If Denver didn't fumble 3 times spotting the Pats 13 points Denver would have won. We were dominating the game up until thd 3 straight fumbles happened

I used to love him when we were 6-0, he won 5 more games the rest of his 3 years in Denver.

Orton is a fine QB when he isn't getting pressured and when his receivers are open, he just can't make plays or throw anyone open. Every year that Orton starts for your team is a wasted year. He is never going to get any better and he will never win anything. He is the prototype backup QB.

No one's clamoring for Orton to be the QBOTF. But we have a decent o-line and a good group of receivers. While Orton relatively sucks, it's nice to see someone that can at least call himself a QB not completely waste games that give the rest our offense a chance to develop.

Deberg_1990 12-18-2011 07:25 PM

I think it's safe to say Todd Haley is a complete dumbass who wasted one season of the Kansas City Chiefs.

good to hear you're watching the games to the end again. :D

okcchief 12-18-2011 11:52 PM

They would have been better off starting him against Pittsburgh and he'd only been in the roster a few days. I even said so at the time. Haley's insistence on playing Palko was the death nail for me.

Phobia 12-18-2011 11:54 PM

Honestly, who cares who wins this division? It's like last year's NFC West - who won that debacle? Seattle? What did that earn them? First round embarrassment?

As evidenced by that 30 yard sack he took today. Get busy making that bust for Canton.

He also took another sack where he was freaking out, tried to reverse, and ran right into a defender who was behind him. Quite comical.

What about that 40 yard scramble on 2nd and 23, was that comical?

Or the play where he shed a tackle in his own end zone, got stripped, picked the ball up and nearly completed a pass, was that comical?

Those are incredible plays that only a guy with once in a generation type talent can make. Tebow is getting better every week and has limitless potential.

Just wait and see. Tebow has never had a full offseason in the NFL, you will be shocked by how good he looks next year.

This is Tebows second year in the NFL and he's completing less than 50% of his passes. What kind of off season did he have before his rookie year?

Tebow vs the 32nd ranked passing defense... 11-22 for 141 net yards, 0 TD's, 2 fumbles. He's going far!

scho63 12-19-2011 04:26 AM

The #1 reason we sucked so much and Palko kept starting is now gone! Thank God! That's why we lost so much.
