GIF'D UP Chiefs vs Packers AKA WOOOOOOO
http://uranus.ckt.net/~gochiefs/woorton.gif
http://uranus.ckt.net/~gochiefs/ortonlol.gif http://uranus.ckt.net/~gochiefs/haligb.gif Orton's deep pass to Baldwin coming in a moment. |
Hali never gets held
|
Thats not holding /NFL
|
Not a hold, perfectly legal/contrarian douche
|
Can't see the first two images. Are they on a different server?
|
The sad thing is you don't even need it slowed down. Every Chiefs game you see Tamba get attacked. His style actually makes the hold look worse, so I can not understand why it still doesn't get called.

Sounds shitty to me, but he said he knew from experience that this happens. |
Pretty nice throw. Baldwin does well to track it but can't scoop it.

Since holds are the topic du jour, how about a gif of "obvious end zone, should have been safety" hold?

I was going to say this when I posted the gif, but forgot. The fact that Baldy is drawing two guys deep is going to be huge for our offense going forward. |
That hold in the endzone is unreal.
|
I wonder what Orton was grinning at?

The teams should be able to fine the refs for blown calls like these, the endzone - you can see jersey pull. Both - you know the refs are watching the QB to make sure he doesn't get hit in the head or hit late, how in the name of everything good and decent in the world do they miss those calls? |
Quote:
I dunno, he just completed a pass to McCluster that ended up short of the end zone on third and goal. |
Hali will continue to get held. The league will protect the marquee QBs at all cost.

Would it be the GMs job to send to the league these kinds of farce for the football game? To get an explanation & understanding of why they keep doing it. Then for the league to take action that it doesn't become this epic of fail for the officiating embarassments.
Would a GM of Pioli stature (sarcasm) have any kind of pull to get this fixed? |
|
I'm not sure, but I think he said "stay down, bitch" at the end of the clip

Richardson took care of his guy. |
This holding is SO out of control! I feel like im taking crazy pills why does this shit not get called time after time after time after time!!

God I love this league. |
I'd chastise McClain for celebrating his block before the play was over, but he knew Jones was only good for a few yards at best.

I think we will see some more holds called against the Ra-raa's.

If Moeaki can get and stay healthy, he is gonna eat the underneath coverage alive with these receivers.
With a legit QB and a healthy Moeaki, this offense will be one of the top units in the whole league. |

We are drafting a TE for sure. 2ed or 3rd

It took a good 6 years but we actually executed like 3 screens (none to McCluster lol) and I was shocked...plain shocked.
I remember in the Vermeil days where Priest and Trent made those things work 4-5 times a game beautifully...haven't seen one executed since...amazing how well Orton sold those babies! |
Cassel must be dying inside to see Orton do in his first start what he could never do LOL
|
Quote:
He has one 300-yard game in a winning effort as a Chief. One. In three years. LMAO |

I hope Scott is paying attention. |
If Moeaki and Charles come back healthy, Dan Marino could unretire and throw for 5000 yards with this skill position core.

His 300-yard winner came against the Titans last year.
That was where I thought he had actually turned a corner...he was great in that game. He's taken massive dumps all over Arrowhead since. |

It's too bad the real Mark Castle had to show up in the following two games. |
212: Matt Cassel[175] November 13, 2008
New England Patriots VS New York Jets L 34-31 OT 30/51 400yds 3 TDs 0 INT 103.4 rating First QB with 400+ passing yards and 60+ rushing yards in the same game. Never did that shit here. Except in yet another losing performance. heh 232: Matt Cassel[192] November 14, 2010 Kansas City Chiefs @ Denver Broncos L 49-29 33/53 469yds 4 tds 0 int 116.0 3rd career 400-yard game. |
His number of starts (in relation to most really good quarterbacks of the past as a point of when a corner is turned in their careers) and his statistical improvement seemed to make the thought of him having turned a corner, somewhat legit at the time.
Oakland and Baltimore put that to rest really quickly and it never got better again. Dude should be gone, but I have little doubt that he will be back next year. |

Moss Welker 19-0 team around him blah blah blah |

One he would scramble around and get yards to extend drives. Two, the fear of going to the sidelines to face Bill Belichick. |

The beauty about T-Rich is he never blew people up he just chipped enough to get them out of position to let Priest do his thing, T-Rich could turn guys and seal as well, I don't recall a T-Rich Knockout blow, he was just a master at not letting his guy mke the tackle.

The worst thing of all is that Barry Richardson can't get anywhere close enough to a pass rusher to wrap his arm around their neck.

Quote:
Opposing Coach: "Hey Ref! That number 91 has this move where he goes faster than our Left Tackle, so our player is going to have to hold him by the neck." Ref: "OK. That seems fair." One of these days Hali needs to grab the tackle's hand and pin it, plant his right foot and turn his entire body inside, dropping his body weight. |

I'm someone who always says there's holding on every play in the NFL, etc. etc. Buy that third gif in the OP, that thar is holding. |
Quote:
There is also holding in the 2nd gif, you just can't see what is being held. |
Quote:
The first one is holding IMHO. The second one, meh, not so much. |
