smoking pole
 

I've smoked pole many times, but have a few poles I need to cook and thought I might try smoking them. I've tried it once before and the results were very, meh. I was thinking of scoring the poles, brining them, then smoking them? Any CP pole smoking advice and or brining ideas?

Do you have any tips on successful smoking? Do you brine them first? Do you use some kind of rub?

I use a wet rub, and skip the dry rub. :thumb:

I've heard that you should leave it to marinate. It increases the flavor.
