Kolb?

Ive heard this guy's name floating around. Knew he was gonna start for Philly until Clay Matthews dusted him and Vick skyrocketed.

Did he do very well for AZ? Assuming Manning goes for the dome, I dont think they would keep Kolb due to cap issues. Would he be worth bringing in for competition or would he be another Shat Cassel waiting to happen?

Damn man. Chiefs QB situation is feckin bleak.

Mr_Tomahawk 03-11-2012 03:45 PM

NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

htismaqe 03-11-2012 03:46 PM

He was so good in Arizona that they're going for Manning.

lewdog 03-11-2012 03:46 PM

I do not want any corn on the Kolb!!!

LiL stumppy 03-11-2012 03:46 PM

Anybody saying no is ignorant.

I would take absolutely anyone over Casshole right now.

Edit: except Tebow, and a random few others.

Bowser 03-11-2012 03:46 PM

I think I'd take Orton over Kolb.

Definitely this. Miss out on Griffin and Manning, I think signing Orton is the third best option for KC. God it sucks saying that.

Okie_Apparition 03-11-2012 03:48 PM

He made them miss matt Leinart

chagrin 03-11-2012 03:48 PM

GFY dude

chiefzilla1501 03-11-2012 03:49 PM

So is the new game to start new threads of every free agent QB?

Derek Anderson?

Strongside 03-11-2012 03:49 PM

I am truly saddened that my favorite team in all of sports has been deduced to this...

Did anyone even WATCH Kevin Kolb last year? I was living in AZ...I swear Cassel was flying at warp speed and changing uniforms and playing for the Cards as well. They're the same guy.

lcarus 03-11-2012 03:52 PM

I still remember getting into arguments with people at my workplace about Kolb. They were all saying what a big mistake it was for the Eagles to part ways with him to keep Vick. How dumb do they look now.

I also remember arguing with them about Sproles. I kept saying he would be an explosive playmaker for San Diego after LT left, but one person in particular said Sproles would be buried on the SD depth chart because Jacob ****ing Hester was a better player. Bunch of idiots I work with, I swear. Couple of em are Donk fans.

Hammock Parties 03-11-2012 03:53 PM

Bringing in a guy who completes 58 percent of his passes when playing with Larry Fitzgerald...a sure upgrade to Cassel.

Kolb makes sense.

Strongside 03-11-2012 03:56 PM

I'd rather have Skelton.

Dylan 03-11-2012 03:59 PM

Wasn't Kolb running for his life in AZ due to their offensive line?

How do you prefer your women's skin tone? Fair Ortan?

mcaj22 03-11-2012 04:07 PM

didnt John Skelton go like 6-2 last season

that means Kolb accounts for the rest... so 2-6. That is pathetic.

whoman69 03-11-2012 04:08 PM

Kolb won't be released unless they sign Peyton. That said, he didn't have great numbers with them. 3-6 in nine starts.

ROFL

I agree.

King_Chief_Fan 03-11-2012 05:58 PM

If KC isnt going to sign Manning...all right, since KC isn't going to sign manning, I keep Orton. And see what is available next year. No Kolbs, Flynns, Hennies, etc.

Bane 03-11-2012 06:00 PM

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

I knew it wouldn't take long for the Kolb ballwashers to wake up!

ROFL

FloridaMan88 03-11-2012 06:11 PM

JFC, STOP creating threads about the Chiefs potentially getting a shitty QB.

Teblow, Kolb, Flynn, Campbell... STOP, STOP, STOP, STOP, STOP, STOP, STOP, STOP, STOP, STOP, STOP.

Between those two yes, Skelton. If everyone would just stop throwing out the so called big names and actually remember or watched any games last season....

yep, because Orton wouldn't be looked at as a permanent move.

Kolb has more upside but so far he hasn't realized it.

If we don't get manning then just sign Orton, cut Cassel, keep looking for a QBoTF.

Orton is a decent stopgap

tbh i never really thought Kolb was worth all the hype

58-4ever 03-11-2012 06:33 PM

If no Manning, I'd like to see Orton and see the Chiefs draft another potential QBOTF, whether that be one of these guys like Weeden or Foles. Personally, I would stay far away from Tannehill.

Yep, if no Manning, I'd want Orton, Stanzi, and a draft pick.

You can't just replace him with another turd or average QB. If we go get Kolb we are going to stick behind him for atleast 2 yrs. Thats not going to help anyone. On paper anybody is an upgrade, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't try to do better. I would much rather take a chance on a young QB than go this route. If we get a young QB that isn't ready then resign Orton for a year if he will have us.

Signing Orton and drafting a guy like Foles would probably be our next best option. I'm not so sure I'm sold on Tannehill either.

Orton never sounded like he wanted to be here. We should have realized...if Orton didn't wanna be here, why the **** would Peyton Manning wanna be here?
