Replacement toilet

I replaced my main bathroom toilet about 18 months ago and it has been golden. I bought it at Home Depot for $89 on sale. It's their Glacier Bay brand. It has just been rated #1 by Consumer Reports for dual flush toilets. That is, there's a button for pee (much less water used) and another for poop. It was up against toilets that cost up to $750 and outperformed them.

It's a "chair height" toilet which means it's a couple inches higher than a normal toilet.

So on the chair height units is the water in the bowl raised as well or does your turd have those extra inches available to gain speed and make a larger splash?

Nice Can. How's the flush power?

It's all the same except you don't have to squat so low and tear a ligament or bust a hemorrhoid.

Lady at work told a funny toilet story the other day.

Her brother has a few rental properties and was called to one of them to do some repairs. The renters are an old couple.

After fixing a couple things the old lady took him to the bathroom and asked if he could lower the water in the bowl.

When he asked why she replied "Because Bob's balls get wet".

Dang n00b. Everyone knows that the American Standard Champion Series is the ****OFFICIAL**** toilet of Chiefsplanet.

seclark 03-18-2012 02:52 PM

looks like a nice shitter. the 2-flusher seems like overkill to me. then again, i usually piss out the back door.

Intredesting, I'd always assumed that Glacier Bay HD's version of 'Best Choice' canned veggies, or 'Coby' MP3 players.

Have you become a drunk? You normally spell better than this and make better arguments.

First off, the spelling 'error' is a meme that has spiked a bit in popularity here recently. Just trying to fit in with the cool kids. Thanks for reminding me I belong at the Freaks and Geeks table.

Second, I wasn't making an argument. I was making an observation. I've only ever really paid attention to Glacier Bay faucets, and they are clearly the 'value' faucets. Kohler and Moen running $150-180, and GB running $75-100.

Good to know. I will check into it. Costco has a similar toilet. Just put one in a client's house a couple months ago and they love it.

Fairplay 03-18-2012 04:57 PM

I think it was Sully that bought a new toilet a year or so ago on here.

But yes the height of the toilet is important i agree.

I was watching a home show just today and this fancy house had a $6000 dollar toilet in it. It had a lot of cool features.

Here is a link for it, check out the video on it.

Excuse me, you don't mind if I take a Cassel?

JoeyChuckles 03-18-2012 07:55 PM

Excuse me, I live in an apartment. When you buy a new toilet, can you just flush the old one down the new one?

 I was doing work on a clogged toilet at an apartment complex that an asshole was evicted from. I tried the plunger, no luck. Snake would go only so far in and stop. So I reached down (after I emptied the toilet) and the mother ****er had cut a gel bottom in half and stuffed it as far into the toilet as he could. Afterwards, took a shit and left. If I ever meet him, I'm running my fingers across his nose. LMAO

Your problem appears to be bad aim. If you work on that it should go back to white.
