So this is the thread explaining how you bought and paid for judges ****ed us out of winning even though we so clearly win this round.

At least this is providing a distraction from the KU circlejerk in the Lounge. That place is going to be unbearable for the next week.

No ****ing kidding, I couldn't get through the good damn park without queers dancing all around in blue and res. This is my worst nightmare all over again.

So I have my points takes on everything but the spelling and shit, so ill go over them for that crap when I get to work then I'll get my scores up.

Vets,
Just an awesome job. I can't express how happy I am with the artwork. This picture in particular was just great.

The front cover looks like something I'd find on a real book. Very accurate and funny. (Nice pricetag)
The back cover was a nice bonus with some funny shit. The Fisty pic on the airliner left a little something to be desired.

Creativity:

The story started out fast and it held my attention. However, the story was a little bland and seemed to just state history more than being creative with the story. I guess what I'm saying is, I expected you guys to take a few more "artistic liberties" with the story.

Well, this is the most important piece of the puzzle.
First of all, the pics really made me laugh. Like I said, the one with Pioli made me laugh my ass off. The covers were both great as well. "Buck... lol" And the shit about Phobia was great as well.
The story, well... It just left a little to be desired. Of course, the Pioli and Castle bashing was funny, (like it always is) but I think you could have done more with it. It was entertaining and to the point, for sure. However, I think you guys started out like gang busters and just fizzled a bit at the end.

Ok, I see a couple in quotations that probably shouldn't be there. Not really worth pointing out though.

Commas are allowed before the word and, as it is a conjunction.

Each picture was conducive to the story but the back cover was fairly 'Meh' however, since the back cover is just a bonus, it doesn't count against you.

Creativity
You guys definitely put some real effort into this. I almost felt sorry for poor Mr. Teebow... It was a good story. You really stuck with the whole "Allah" thing throughout the story. It was fluid and definitely held my attention. It did seem to wander a little off and on with the fat whores and beastiallity but all in all a great story. I enjoyed it and it was very creative.

I have to say, pretty damn funny story, guys... Like I stated earlier, it wandered a little but as a whole, it was a great effort. I really liked how you painted the city of Denver as a whole. That warmed my heart. My favorite line?

We'll see what the other judges have to say but IMHO you guys really did well. Both teams did, actually. However, I think you guys took a few more 'Artistic Liberties' than the Vets on this one and were a little more creative.

How is it supposed to be told you so's? There is no possession and there is no contraction, so why would you use an apostrophe in that situation?

Then I respect your restraint in using your feminine wiles to seduce Gonzo (if there IS a Gonzo).

The big thing was to be creative and funny, that is right in our teams wheelhouse.

1 nitpick from me. If you google Shitbird it shows up both ways. I actually did look that one up to check, but figured if I put shit bird people would think I'm talking about a bird covered in shit and not a shitbird individual.

Want to reconsider their creativity and artwork scores?

It was multiple cartoons and don't be bitter. There wasn't a picture in either that was completely hand drawn.

Well, I can't change the score now.

However, that's a little weaksauce WV. Not as much effort as I thought.

Gonzo is obviously trying to keep the n00bs in this competition. Let's hope the other judges aren't so biased.

I never did get an explanation about this "commatard" nonsense.

I would like the other two judges to take that into account when they score the artwork, please.

For me the Vets lost in in creativity but had better Illustrations.


VETS
Comedic Value: 18- Kind of goes along with creativity for me. Needed some more happenings and obscene shit.

Illustrations: 25- Amazing pictures that look very realistic.

Spelling, punctuation: 24- I just noticed some extra commass here and there. Nothing too severe, although I wasn’t reading it with a fine tooth comb.

Creativity: 19: I expected it to be more outlandish. Good story but a few more twists and turns would have increased the points in this category.

NOOBS

Comedic Value: 24- I ****ing loved it. Of course I am a sucker for racist jokes and making fun of religion. The pictures added to the comedic value as well.

Illustrations: 21- Not as clean as the vets but did provide some great laughter.

Spelling, punctuation: 23- Nothing too obvious, some commas here and there.

Creativity: 23- Very creative and loved how is kept all flowing together.
Although I thought some of the creativity was somewhat lost in some of the drawn out parts that could have been condensed.

Well I see an extra apostrophe that shouldn't be there, so put that in your pipe and smoke it.

It's a thrown together picture for a fictional story, I think we're splitting hairs here for who personalized theirs more or less. I'll point out again that there isnt a completely hand drawn picture on either side.

I have no biased either way. I've now been accused no less then 10 times of this practice, Bug. It's exceedingly obvious that the n00bs story was far more creative and funny than the Vets.

You guys dominated the first two competitions and I judged accordingly. When I did so, I was accused of biased because of Lumpy.

I will resign if warranted.

Their story was so non-linear I can't see how anyone could find it funny. We wrote a we'll structured, funny short story and used a couple CP memes. Way more funny.

Nope and never claimed to. There was effort in the staging though....it worked perfectly!

Oh I'm being a bit over-dramatic, but I'm not seeing a 10 point difference in the two. I'm just a bit shocked but we'll lick our wounds and move on.

No need. Every judge will get accuse of being biased all through the competition.
