I like the schedule. Wish we would have a prime time night game though. I'm seeing 10-6 or 11-5 with that schedule. Baltimore is the only team that really scares me but the Falcons and Steelers are formidable opponents as well. Love having the Saints early when they have suspensions and a interim HC.

Nothing is easy in the NFL but as a whole I like the schedule. Not as easy as 2010, but manageable and definitely better than last year.

Why the hell do we play the bills every year? It's gotta be at least the 4th year in a row.

It's gonna be rough starting up again after the bye.

I like playing Atlanta at home to start the season. Arrowhead will be crazy. Agree that getting NO early is important too. For some reason the second half of the season doesn't bother me.

I Love that we play the Broncos late in the season. It will be cold, and who knows, Manning might be dead by then. Steelers game will be tough, but they are not all that great IMO, if we have it rolling we will be fine.

We always play the Steelers well. They're the last ones I'm worried about..

Truth be told, this schedule looks like cake to me. If we're actually halfway decent we'll walk away with at least 9 wins.

Atlanta's a good opener. I was really hoping for Indianapolis, actually. I want to murder that punk ass soft bitch franchise so bad, and if we could gain confidence from that win so much the better. If we get them later in the season I'm kind of worried that we'll slip up and they'll bite us in the ass yet again

And the Saints game is a winnable game IMO. It will be their 3rd week with the interim's interim coach and who knows how long Drew Brees will have been back with the team. A QB who hasn't been with the team in the off season + A 3rd string coach = A Good chance of a Chiefs win.

The Pioli Chiefs have been rather good in recent years at competing against playoff teams considering the awful teams we've fielded in the past. A legitimate game manager QB would have gotten us over a few of those humps.

We'll lose our fair share. We ain't beating Baltimore. I think you can throw New Orleans on top of that, too. But that's to be expected. It's some of the games that we have no reason to lose that we'll **** up. We'll lose at least three badly-played division games plus some games where we're FAR more talented than the other team, but we'll just be ****ing stupid and look like shit. At Tampa worries me a lot. So do the Indianapolis, Cincinnati, and Carolina games.

We CAN be a playoff team, but it's up to Romeo and Cassel to decide if we take care of business. I don't quite see that happening, but who knows.

Looking at just stats doesn't tell the story. See Cassel 2010 and Smith 2011. In four road losses last season they scored 51 points while giving up 103. Simply put they are inconsistent on the road. Great "programs" do not do that.

Falcons are pretty tough in the dome. Probably underrated in that regard... they probably have one of the best home records in the league since Mike Smith took over. I'd imagine most people wouldn't guess that. They're beatable on the road though.
