TJ McDonald would be an interesting fit he's fast but is a big time lay the lumber safety.

If he declares I'd like the Chiefs to take a shot at Tyler Bray

With the roster we have built, a young quarterback is gonna be able to jump in head first.

You can sell all those QB's but not Landry Jones that guy sucks.

Tyler Bray. I like Murray, but if he's 6' tall it's due to his hair being spiked up.

Honestly, unless we have Brady on the bench there is no excuse to look at anything but QB.

Drafting Landry Jones is probably worse than just keeping Cassel.

But what do I know?...Stanzi can't get on the field and I wanted to move up for Tannehill (and the opportunity to do so was there)

Can't wait until we draft Dayne Crist.

We need to re-sign bowe, Albert, and Dorsey. That way there is no other position we have an excuse to take in round one

I think Wilson has a monster year at Arkansas. He's the unofficial head coach down there now and is a great leader. He's going to be very polished after coming out of that pro style system.

Not so sure Dorsey will be back to be honest with you...

I am not either, but if he leaves DE will be a need and that will be our pick

Bailey will take over his spot and will do well .. I doubt they'd spend a first next year on another DE.

i expect Dorsey to leave, Jackson to rework his deal and something to get done with Albert and Bowe, just my thoughts.

I've seen Vanderberg play..he's not very good.

We didn't take Brockers though...that tells me they either really like Bailey or they plan on re signing Dorsey... I'd lean towards the Bailey option

I don't think we can do it without trading Bowe (NO I AM NOT SAYING "TRADE BOWE"!!!!!!eLeveN), but if we're not in the first 6-8 picks, I think we need to get there to get one of the top 5 QBs next year (my list right now is Barkley, Bray, Jones, Smith & Wilson).

Shit, next year give up as many picks as you have to to get your guy.

I'm not expecting Bray or Murray to come out in next years draft.

This team is likely going to win too many games to have a reasonable shot at Tyler Wilson. Missing out on Tannehill is going to hurt a lot down the road.

Keith Price is already getting me to start salivating. Playing in Sark's pro style offense, and pushing Montana into a transfer is pretty amazing. Kid's got skills. He'll probably come out early, and may be the best QB in the 14 class.

I'm sure we'll finally get our QB next year just like how Scott Pioli likes to draft a QB every year right??

What happened this year? Nothing.

You have to root for Kevin Kolb this year. Raiders and Chiefs are the only two teams on paper that need to draft a QB next year. I say raiders cuz no way Reg mckenzie lives with that mess one year longer than he has to.

Barkley is a hell of a lot better than Cassel.

That being said, I'd be willing to bet there will be at least 2 QBs that leap him as the top QBs in next year's class.

Both Tyler's (Wilson and Bray), would be my bet.

There might be a third, as well.

If Wilson has the year I think he will next year, it's time to go get him. Hell it's past time.

As I wrote in my NFL Power Rankings, the Chiefs have the best roster in the NFL if you exclude the quarterback position. I believe they'll win the AFC West and make the playoffs, but they'll suffer another early exit because of Matt Cassel's limitations. Here's one way to fix that.

Absolutely this. It's been years since I have been as excited about a QB prospect as I am Bray. That includes Luck (call me crazy all you want). I think this guy is awesome.

See, I know people get sick of the "wait til next year" talk, but I do think the class has a lot of potential to have a very deep QB class. I am praying like crazy that Murray and/or Bray or both end up declaring. Could Murray even hop above Barkley if he has a big season? The kid just has such a big arm, from what I've seen. None of these guys will be Andrew Luck, but what matters more isn't who's on top, but how many legit first rounders are there? I think there will be more QBs and less teams desperately competing for QBs.

You've got three guaranteed QBs in the first round. Barkley, Wilson, Landry Jones. While I don't like Jones, you hope some dumb team in front of you uses their QB card on him. One less team to worry about. What do people think about Geno Smith or EJ Manuel? Smith's had an impressive run at WVU. And does Manuel have the ability to be the next RGIII? They seem to play a similar game and let's not forget that RGIII wasn't high on radars after his junior year. Murray and Bray are cherries on the top. I wonder if this class could have 5 or more surefire first round QBs.

Love Geno Smith and what he could do this year. He's shown sharp improvement from year to year, and has shown that he's got the great arm and sharp release to go along with his athleticism.

He could be next year's RGIII. Known, but not taken too seriously before the college season. By the end of the season, however, he turns into either the king of the draft or a co-king.

The one thing to keep in mind, and it's something I've been saying for a while, is amazingly it's a lot easier to jump 10-15 spots into the top 10 or 15 than it is to jump 2-3 spots into the top 5.

Which is why I keep bringing up the depth of this year's QB class. If any good QB falls out of the top 5 and especially toward 10 or above, we can trade up for a lot less compensation than what Washington gave up for RGIII.

we'll be picking around 15, give or take a few. Once again we won't have a shot at a good QB.
