this is gonna be good. I had to buy this fight on ppv. With Griffin vs Ortiz also in the mix with tonights fight its going to be awesome to watch.

Got this shit ordered. First time I've paid for a fight since Lesnar Mir II.

Figured If I went out and watched at a bar, ate and drank all night I'd almost spend as much money if I just bought the damn fight and stayed home. Have lots of food, making shit loads of pigs in a blanket, corn on the cob, party potatoes, pulled pork sammiches and "special" brownies for desert. Plus a lil bit of beer.

Already ordered it. Making fajitas and bacon wrapped jalapenos right now. Got my beer for when the fight starts.

At work until 8:30, then heading over to a friends house for the fight. I hate both Sonnen and Silva so as long as they beat one another bloody I'll be happy. Hope Griffin whips Ortiz's ass into retirement.

I'm on the fence, im debating on looking for a stream.......... But damn this fight should be worth the 60 bucks.

I want to watch it really bad but don't wanna spend $55. I need to find a buddy to come over and split it with me.

Is it true that Silva had a broken rib during Silva vs Sonnen 1? Because if that's true, Sonnen might be a for a rude awaking tonight (I hope not).

I've never had an issue in the past. If it cuts off on you, just switch links. Give it a few seconds after the end of the prelims though for it to switch over.

I was rooting for Sonnen, but that spinning backfist has to be one of the worst ideas I've seen in the octagon.

Once again, I see a card I would be pretty upset if I shelled out money to see.

Much the reason I no longer will pay for these fights.

Sonnen showed in the 1st round that he's capable of dominating a healthy Silva. Silva's takedown defense was a gazzilion times better, though. I honestly don't know how to feel about this fight. It was flukey that Sonnen slipped, but it wasn't flukey that Silva defended against the two takedown attempts in the second round. If Sonnen can't take him down, he doesn't stand a chance.

All I know is that I'm completely unsatisfied with the fight.

It's too bad we didn't get to see any of the Seagal training in the Sonnen fight tonight.

That fight was garbage. Sonnen should have raped.

So any predictions on who the next "champ" will be that goes down?

All of them look like they could hold on to the titles for awhile. Maybe Silva just because age catches up to him or retirement? Maybe Rashad drops down and can lay and pray for 5. 155 is a pretty tough class so maybe Henderson?

Im not a sonnen fan, but there was some blatant cheating going on by Silva.The first round rocked him and it sucks he resorted to this......... absolutely no reason to hang on to his shorts out of the refs view for 30 sec.

IIRC the ref saw it and told him to stop.

30 sec later after he was controlling Sonnen with it for that long and rock him with that punch i posted. You see him re-position when they spin to try keep it out of the refs view. That's when the ref finally caught it and told him to stop.

Lets just ignore the fact that Chael Raked Andersons eyes in the first round.

Pulling on his shorts had nothing to do with Chael getting hit and going Fetal.

Thats the name of the game. He was warned. Thats how it works.

By no means am I a Sonnen fan............ I am just saying it's sad Silva resorted to being dirty to win. He might as well be a Bronco!

I know Anderson Silva was just trying to be classy after the fight by making up with Sonnen, but with as much shit talking Sonnen did I wish he just would have let him be. The BBQ invitation was stupid.

All i am saying is he blatantly held his shorts for 30 sec to a min controlling Sonnen. That is blatantly illegal to do which Silva clearly knows as he re-positions to try to keep the hold while attempting to keep it out of the refs view.

Don't forget the ref wiping the excess vaseline off before the 1st. It was pretty clear he was willing to do everything and anything to avoid getting the beating he got last time.

Actually, it was pretty funny if you've been following all the pre-fight antics.

Sonnen had repeatedly made a comment about Anderson's wife cooking him a perfect, medium rare steak. He worked it into lots of his material.

Inviting him over for a BBQ was polite slap in the face, and you'll notice Chael smiled and laughed when he said it. It was a good "shot".

One of the most memorable moments of the night for me was Costa Phillipou showing fire after Fukuda poked him in the eye. Rogan's "old school Kung Fu = 3 Stooges routine" comment was hilarious. Costa is a tough SOB and I'm now a fan.

No he didn't. He got out struck 3 to 1 in the fight. He had a few good takedowns and a little G & P. It's was close, but not way did he get ****ed.
