pawn-stars-chum-lee-bloody-fight-on-hollywood-blvd

Chumlee from "Pawn Stars" was involved in a crazy -- and bloody -- fight right in the middle of Hollywood Blvd. this weekend ... but the reality star tells TMZ it was all in self-defense.

A video has surfaced showing Chum and his pals hanging out in front of Chum's Rolls Royce ... when they are approached by an unknown man.

Chum tells us ... the guy was harassing the group and demanding a ride in the Rolls. When Chum's group refused, Chum says the man threatened to pull a gun.

Chum says the man then reached for something in his pocket ... so his boys took action, socking the guy in the face HARD ... dropping the man to the pavement.

Once the guy hit the floor, Chum and his crew scrambled to get back in the car and quickly fled the scene ... while the man tried to pick himself up, blood pouring out of his face.

Chum tells TMZ, "Instinct just took over. [The man] didn’t even know I was on TV or anything … just wanted to ride in our car and start problems.”

So far, no word on the identity of the victim or his current condition.

Nah. He's the SEC by himself. More screen time, more shows specific to what he does individually. Rolls Royce ON! Livin' large in the hot lights of the spot light.

Do you drive a Rolls Royce?

No, but if I did it'd be purchased with money earned by merit, not the result of being a lazy, fat, stupid, sack of garbage who leeches off of a family friend's business.

Iowanian 07-12-2012 01:35 PM

Reports show the victim had 7 broken bones and lost 3 pints of blood to which Rick responded

"No, no way....no way there are more than 2 broken bones. I've got a buddy I'd like to call in who is an expert in repairing broken bones and blood assessment"

I'd also like to point out that if Chumlee, who is a moron in a pawn shop is driving anything nicer than an 83 chevy sedan, the world is broken.

You realize that show is largely scripted, right? I mean, do you think some guy just happened to bring in a rifle used in the Hatfield & McCoy feud on the same day that Hatfields & McCoys was airing on the same network?

I doubt if Chumlee is the sharpest knife in the drawer, but I also highly doubt he's anywhere near as dumb as he's portrayed on the show. And I don't think he stole the money to buy that car - he earned it. You may not approve, or be a bit jealous of his success and celebrity, but the bottom line is he's a star on a popular TV show and is simply reaping the benefits.

I'm also quite sure he wouldn't give two shits what you think about it.

Donger 07-12-2012 01:41 PM

That looks like a RR Ghost. About $200,000. LMAO

Good for Chumlee.

So he paid $10,000 for it and made them feel lucky they were getting that ..............

[QUOTE=frazod;8735181]You realize that show is largely scripted, right?QUOTE]

I'm sure parts of it, or the vast majority is scripted, just like in Storage Wars. But the other day I caught an episode wher ChumLee was driving this guys wooden pirate ship float around and the guy wanted $250k for it I believe, and ChumLee was told not to buy the boat, the guy trying to sell was legitimately pissed. It looked real at least.

loochy 07-12-2012 03:42 PM

I think what they do is when someone brings in something unique they tell them to come back later in the week so they can do the shooting. My wife just visited the store a couple of weeks ago and she was told that they only film like once a week.

Closer to 300k depending on the year. Looked up a 2007 a few days ago and it was $230k.

Marcellus 07-12-2012 04:48 PM

He will be pawning/selling that Rolls in a few years. You can bet on that. Rick will probably hose him on it big time.

They're getting ridiculous with it now. I saw a promo for a "Combat Pawn" show iirc.

What's next?

Yeah, guess it's what you like. I find the items in the Cajun series more interesting and the sellers not brain dead.

Deberg_1990 07-12-2012 06:53 PM

I've always enjoyed Hardcore Pawn more and I think its less "set up". Although all reality tv is set up to some extent.
