Training camp starts. Go on record. What will be the Chiefs record?
It's obviously way too early for even an educated guess. But WTH, its still better than another poop thread.
|
10-6...
|
10-6.
4-2 in the division (sweep da Faiders) and 6-4 non-division |
10-6
|
Clay and OTWP will be along soon to point and laugh at our homerism.

I was just trying to help you guys out by posting the schedule in the record prediction thread. |

...That'll learn ya. 8 - 8 Andrew Luck meets a red fireball #91 and gets shut out. |
7-9
|
I never get these right. I'm going with 9-7 this year. Just good enough to keep Nancy Cassel next year and be out of the running for a QB in the draft.

10-6.

10 - 6
|
I'm going out on a limb at 10-6
I will preface this with two caveats; no major injuries (Cassel not inlcuded) and we will either be 10-6 or 6-10. I don't see a mediocre season this year. We have all the tools except QBOTF and if somehow Cassel surpasses all expectations, then we can succeed. |

|
9 - 7, we pull a wild card playoff spot therby cemmenting Cassel as the starting QB for 2 more years.
|
12-4
|
0-1 in the playoffs.
The rest means nothing. |
11-5 just to be different
|
Based off some random slapdick's camp reports...We'll be lucky to win a game against this super, tough, impossible schedule!!!
|
Cassel MVP. Crennel COY. Cp shutsdown.
|
7-9.
|
im thinking 10-6....and if Cassel doesnt play more than 50% of the games, it could go as high as 12-4
|
6-10

3-13
Cassel has a 2-1 INT/TD ratio, Bowe holds out for the season, thus killing any potential passing attack. Charles stays healthy but fumbles more rapidly. The secondary is more vulnerable without Carr, and safety depth still manages to hurt the team drastically. The one bright spot is the pass rush ability off the edges with Hali and Houston, who manage to rack up double-digit sacks each. Other than that, pretty pathetic in all other areas. /doomandgloomscenario |
I am going out on a limb and saying 11-5. I mean who knows really?
|
we're stuck with Bowe, instead of Antonio Brown
but we have matt cassel but, also, Bowe dropped a pass once but, we have a franchise QB and model our franchise after the Steelers, so by the transitive property we are champ... but we upgraded at CB, getting more penalties for less money but pioli no longer has to spend time sending text messages to national sports writers explaining what a shit head haley is but we have brain daball, who made matt moore look like matt moore, an average QB but we also have too many good WRs, need to get rid of some but we also have a failed HC, so he is the next Belichick but we also have the patriot way but we also have Ugoh, which means we can let Albert go but we also have Brady Quinn, a huge upgrade over Palko even though he's a massive downgrade from Orton but he's cheaper but our fans don't have to worry about Clark's money at night man...hard call, i go back and forth 8-8 or maybe 8-8 but at least Cassel will be here |
Cassel will do just good enough to keep his job and make us miserable yet another year.

9-7 Clayton lucks out due to late insertion of Stanzi and in game coaching blunders.

Team wins a playoff game this year.

Optimist 11-5
Pessimist 7-9 |
I think we may be one of those good teams with a bad record this year, instead of a bad team with a good record like 2 years ago. 7-9
|
8-8. The goal is reached yet again.

LMAO I should have just said "this". |
11 and 5
12 and 4 something like that |
13-3 Cassel plays lights out.

Mediocrity! |
I think we'll get to see a lot of the young talent shine.
Guys like Hudson, Houston, Menzie, who I think will be a big part of defending TEs in that latter half of the season. But when it comes down to it, late in close games against good teams, we'll lose, because we have a QB that handicaps this team. Best case scenario, 7-9. |

I'm already on record as anywhere from 6-10 to 8-8 so I just chose to go with the optimistic 8-8 on the poll.

Or do you mean Cassel doesn't play? |
9-7

tan and sex

9-7 and still without a playoff win. I'm trying to be optimistic here, really I am!
|
7-9

8-8 feels about right.

8-8.
Then again, it doesn't matter what they do in the regular season. Anything less than a playoff win is an unsuccessful season at this point. |
One week away :whackit::whackit::whackit:

I expect a top 15 defense, a top 10 run game, and Cassel to be thoroughly average. But with a strong run game, he'll have his occasional moments. With our schedule, this translates to 7-8 wins.
If the defense takes a step forward and is close to top 5 territory, I'd put it at 9 wins. If the defense takes that step and Cassel has another 2010 in him, I'd go 10-11. |
Quote:
Patriots are still great but that defense is nowhere near great. Steelers O-line sucks and the defense is aging. Baltimore is aging. Colts suck I predict they go 7-9. Shitty coaching, shitty QB, and if Houston or Hali miss anytime the defense is ****ed. |

I could see the Chiefs going 4-2 in the division and still ending up 7-9.
|
If Cassel plays the entire season- 6-10.
Wins at home against: San Diego, Oakland, Denver, and Carolina Wins on the road against: Cleveland, and Buffalo |
