Any Fargo, ND, Chiefs Fans Here?

I think Bevischief is from Fargo, is anyone else?

Is The Bowler bar a nice place? There's a bean bag (cornhole) tournament there that my friend and I are considering coming up to play in October. I've got some friends that live there so I would have a place to stay, but i just as well see who else is up there since I never make it to Fargo.

This could be like a Springfield gathering!

loochy 08-22-2012 08:09 AM

Fargo Chiefs fans? LOL are you kidding? Are there even any PEOPLE in Fargo?

RealSNR 08-22-2012 08:10 AM

I'll be visiting family in Grand Forks one of those weeks in October. When is the butthole tournament?

BoneKrusher 08-22-2012 08:18 AM

Fargo was an awesome movie.
Just Sayin'.

You do realize that Fargo is booming right now. There are energy jobs growing at a rapid pace around there. Microsoft has a huge campus there as well. Fargo is not where I would want to live, but is much better than the movie portrays it.

Rooters bar is a must and order a Root Beer (not a actual root beer). You will thank me later!!!

I corrected think to thank - Internet Spelling Police where did I send in my ticket fee?

I haven't been there I could check out this weekend. Just too many bars to try at once. I thought there was at least one poster that was lived in North Dakota besides me. Fargo has about 100K people. It just about everything that you could want in most big cities. Fargo is a college town as well.

bevischief 08-22-2012 11:33 AM

There is are some Chiefs fans here but I have yet to find out if they have a gathering place to watch the games. Because of the growing economy in North Dakota you have fans from all over the country. Going to Buffalo Wild Wings on Sunday is like going to Joe's place on Sunday.

Just stopped by the Bowler on the way home from work. Not a bad place good nice area. It has 24 bowling lanes. 3 bars one downstairs with the bowling alley. The 2 bars upstairs have glass so you can watch the bowlers. One bar upstairs has gambling and the other side has darts and a pool table. The menu is about the same as most bowling alleys. Pizza, burgers, warps, salads...etc. It also has banquet room that holds at 400 people. Drink specials every day of the week. Also just a few blocks after highway 94. Also they are used to hosting tournaments of all kinds. Also on Friday nights they have adult toy trivia.

Not that I saw, right now they are signing up for the new bowling, dart and pool league seasons and all the drink specials. At least in the bar they play old school country as well.
