We hadn't played a divisional game, but so many here wanted to shit their pants and run away and ****ing tank the season.

There are a ton of just idiot, bombastic, know-nothings that happen to be more vocal than anyone else on this board.

I ignored about 5 more of them today...

Dude, we looked like shit the first two games. We still looked like shit for a decent bit of today's game against a Saints team that CLEARLY isn't what it used to be.

Cause our QB is straight trash, had it not been for a monster game by Charles and Houston we would have lost again. Can't expect those types of performances every week from them.

This just goes to show our chances of getting Sean Payton is effectively 0%.

So what you STILL don't root for your team to lose or ****ing jump ship 2 games in, without playing a divisional game IMO.

Although the only reason it's possible is because we are all shit teams. I'm glad that the guys on this BB aren't satisfied with 0-2.

No one WANTS this team to lose, they want to be rid of Cassel. Sadly the only way to achieve that is to lose. Maybe by doing that Pioli will realize Cassel is not the answer and actually attempt to draft a QB in the first round.

It's easy to support your team by buying Sunday Ticket and watching from the comfort of NorCal. Go ahead and drop about $700 on a season ticket; then pay for parking and concessions and watch your team get shit on. I'd be willing to bet these horrible fans Pawn is bashing have done quite a bit to enable this shit-show and they're goddamn tired of watching bad football.

And that's what we've seen for 9 of the 12 quarters so far this year.

LMAO It's so reeruned to watch these ****ers start metaphorically back-slapping as if this success will be repeated all the way to the Super Bowl with Matt ****ing Casshole.

NOT gonn'a happen, and I'm absolutely SICK of this shit. Getting a crumb of a little ****ing morale-boost does NOT buy my ****ing loyalty or support. PERIOD.

The ONLY ****ing thing that keeps me a KC fan is my experience of being part of a time when this team was consistently good, though snake-bitten in the play offs.

Pioli was supposed to be the great cure-all for this shit, "The Patriot Mother****ing Myth", and all that stupid jazz.

I'm DONE giving any heart to such a shitty ****ing product administrated by such a shitty ****ing owner who doesn't know his dick from a stick.

I will pray for disaster, I will lament any of these idiotic wins, and I will REJOICE WITH THE TRUMPETS OF THE MOTHER****ING ANGELS WHEN SCOTT PEEHOLI AND HIS ABSOLUTE ABORTION OF MISMANAGEMENT ARE SCRAPPED FROM THE UTERUS OF KANSAS CITY FOR GOOD!

suzzer99 09-23-2012 04:26 PM

Maybe this makes me a bad fan, but I'm not going to root for us to lose. We could just as easily draft a bust QB in the first round. Or we can go 13-3 with a real QB and still lose in the first round of the playoffs like we always do. Might as well enjoy the regular season and at least have us be relevant for a few games so I can have something look forward to each week. In short, I have no hope of us ever winning in the playoffs again, so I might as well root for an intriguing regular-season.

Pathetic I know.

The Patriot Way works when you have one of the greatest QBs of all time and one of the Top 10-15 HCs of all time on your team at the same time. We have neither.

I've invested way too much time and money to a franchise that doesn't really care about winning. It's disheartening. The return on investment has been getting my mouth shit into most weekends. I can't actively root for a loss while the game is in progress; but I'm not going to be upset if we bomb this season and clean house.

I just want a coach that isn't an idiot, a GM that gives a shit about his actual job; and a QB that makes good decisions. And throws accurately. And is a real leader.

I mean really, am I ****ing wrong here? We've bitched at each other on this board and then hung out together in St. Joe as well. All we want is a team that is managed with SOME sense of relation to the modern NFL.

Is that too goddamned much to ask for?

Nope; that's what good fans want. They want a team that is worth spending their hard-earned money and time on.

What is the old saying? "Winning cures all ills".

If by some miracle, Chiefs beat SD and start the season 4-2 or 3-3, the wagon will get more crowded.

It's early in the season.

This team is good enough that a top 10 QB is all we need to make us a very good team. Even in spite of Romeo Crennel.

Makes the Chiefs lost last week not quite as bad. If they had just showed up against the bills last week we'd all be semi-optimistic right now. Minus Castle of course, as always.

It's kind of crazy.

I have been and always will be a Chiefs fan. As the game started on Sunday, I expected a loss and actually was okay with the idea. I felt that, were we to be dominated again, it would mean we were that much closer to significant change for the better.

Then, when I got back home and found us in overtime, and ultimately winning, I felt kind of disoriented.

Do I want them to win? Yes. But I also want us to become a perennial playoff team and ultimate Super Bowl victor. If the only way to get there is to prove to the Hunts that the current regime is a failure, then so be it. Let's get the losing out of the way so we can sooner enjoy the blue skies of success.

As a lifelong fan, it puts you in a tough spot.

I hear ya Mr. FAX and I'm right there with you. A SCARY thought though is this that sucking doesn't necessarily guarantee that the Chiefs will become a perennial playoff team. The Chiefs have been stuck in various degrees of suckage for the better part of a decade, have had 2 owners, 5 coaches, and 2 GM's, have gone through "retooling" and rebuilding and are still no closer to being a perennial playoff team. :shake:

You're such an idiot.

We beat a crappy team, but last week we lost to a crappy team. Yeah a win is great, but the reality of the situation is that your man crush and boy butter supplier will cost this team everything in the end.

Let's just say we make it to the playoffs this year. You know what will happen? Cassel will fold like he did with the Ravens two years ago. The guy just doesn't have the chops to be a legitimate NFL QB, and as long as he is running the show on offense, this team will never ever be a winner.

Redskins- Only win vs Saints
Panthers- Only win vs Saints

Let's not get crazy over this 1 win vs a awful team.

The difference is that in those games, the Saints lit up the scoreboard as normal and they were shootouts. We curb stomped that offense basically the whole game after the first quarter.

I'm not going to "get crazy" but Sunday's game is more of what I expected to see from the Chiefs in 2012. A strong, attacking defense, excellent play from Justin Houston and an extremely solid run game, which bailed out a weak passing game (i.e., no TD's from Cassel).

No Kevin Boss really hurt yesterday and it's clear that Moeaki is way behind Berry and Charles in terms of recovery.

Whether they can build upon yesterday's win and improve as a football team remains to be seen.

ROFL a "running game" ???? You got to be kidding me.

Sure, there was a play there where blocking (Allen impressed on this particular play) allowed Jamaal to gut it downhill, but the rest of this run game is Jamaal Charles, paired with the occasional Brandon Albert lead block, not "the Chiefs".

I think Moeaki is healthy, but he doesn't know his routes yet.

Houston, though, ya. He's playing some solid football considering it's his second season at LOLB. Smart football player.

This was one sloppy damn football game. If they roll like this against better teams, they don't win many of them.

**** off already.

Over analyzing every aspect of the game is not gonna get you there....
The Superbowl is about 25% talent and 75% Luck of the draw. You Chief fans had the talent in the 90's but not the luck, Your team or My team or any other team in the west is not Superbowl material this year.

Have fun, drink a beer and enjoy your wins man, when it's your time to play in the big game again you will be there.

I dont give a **** how awful they are. They have a first ballot hall of fame quarterback on their team, and he has weapons. It was a win.

At the rate they're going now, I won't be there. I'll be in a pine box.

Same here, and PS getting your ass whipped in a SB is not a fond memory of a SB... I would have rather been respectable for the last decade than go to that SB.

So you would swap the results of the Chiefs 1989-2007 with that of the Faid in the same span?

What? What? How can Moeaki have played at Iowa and for the Chiefs and not know route running?

Again, what?

I really liked the Chucky years but you guys had some good teams...

To answer the question, Probably not since some playoff games were won in there...

Not much difference in the clubs overall, built basically the same, built to beat each other.

This doesn't make a lot of sense. 274 yards rushing isn't a running game?

Well Charles is our starter, and he is on the Chiefs. What do you want us to star Draughn? Pretty Damn good running game for CHIEFS if you ask me.
