Vet's Message to Family....wow.

Hard to hear, but dad tells his family how proud he is of them and their sacrifices (he's on his third tour of duty). Tells them how much he looks up to them and loves them...

America.

CaliforniaChief 10-09-2012 01:17 PM

That is awesome.

Gotta love the guy coming in at the end basically saying "Ok, that's nice...now get off our field."

But seriously, those homecomings get me every time.

Good karma for the Gamecocks.

I think all three family members ran a 4.35 40 on that run.

tooge 10-09-2012 01:27 PM

I love seeing crowds cheering vets and their families. Cant say thank you enough to all those who have served.

We need more wars so we can get more videos like this. Which candidate loves starting new wars the most?

I'm proud that I served so you have the right to say that, and to voice your opinion. I sincerely am.

Though, make no mistake, I think you might be full-blown AIDS reeruned.

This....

I served this country for your freedom, but it also gives me the right tell you to go **** yourself and die in a flaming bucket of aids.

I served and I agree with him. Time to bring these men home, for a long, long time. Any candidate that doesn't fully commit to that basic belief isn't fit to hold the office. oh yeah, IMO.

But hey, we all can't be dragon breath mongoloids like your self. ;)

The post wasn't serious. I am actually about as far on the other side as you can be. I think wars, especially Iraq and Afghanistan, are used for profit and political favor at the expense of human lives. I also don't worship soldiers as heroes.

MIAdragon 10-09-2012 02:05 PM

Its MUCH harder on the families than it is for the service member. I always thank the family along with the service members when I see them in public. My wife was a train wreck every deployment.

but they are.

Dayze 10-09-2012 02:08 PM

understood.
I fault the goverment tfor putting our soldiers/airman/sailors in harms way at times we may think, or ar actually, unnecessary.

but I stand 100% behind the troops for volunteering and faithfully executing their orders.
it's not just the soliders who sacrifice, it's their familiies. I was a single, hormonal lad when I served; I can't imagine having a family during my service and deployments at sea.. The amount of stress on them and their families is uncomprehendable to me.

This is why these videos hit home for me. Seeing a live, genuine reaction to something that can only come from pure and raw emotion is powerful.

I bet your wife does, she lost you AND had to raise your son on her own. Its compounded for the fam, but I hear what you're saying.

FYI: Military personnel are frequently separated from their families during times of peace. This soldier was in South Korea on his most recent tour. Your effort to demean a great family moment fell short.

Don't waste your time with this one.

We need more heroes to protect pussies that like to troll using multiple accounts. Don't worry, child. There will always be heroes. They will always protect you. That's what makes our country so great. Oh, by the way, go **** yourself.

I have only 1 account. Your insults are because you know I am right or you are not smart enough to refute my statements.

Veterans rights should be at the forefront of our national political discussion.

Your "statements" are nothing more than one post covering your ass with "I was only joking" after you garnered some attention by trolling a thread, followed by an attempt to sound reasonable once you got that attention. There isn't enough substance in your material to be worthy of a refutation. Fail troll is fail.

Meh. I'd just as soon we grind up idiots like that and feed them to prisoners.
