Carl would have been able to sign Peyton Manning

Just sayin'......he would have gotten it done.

Even if Pioli wasn't here, Manning still wouldn't of signed. He always hated KC and not to mention, Elway did some serious cock sucking

Pasta Little Brioni 10-11-2012 09:58 AM

**** Manning. Draft a young stud and we'll forget about ole wobble launcher.

That is true. There was definately some serious brokeback action going on. Good job n00b.

Mr. Laz 10-11-2012 10:25 AM

1. if it was money then it was Hunt and the GM didn't matter

2. if it was an agent vs GM problem then Carl was hardly on friendly terms with them. He would of told Manning's agent to sit the **** down and shut the **** up and just sign the contract.

once again como is a fool

dallaschiefsfan 10-11-2012 10:59 AM

Can't stand Peterson. Never want him near this franchise again and wanted him gone probably 5 years before he left. That being said...I absolutely believe he would have had a significant shot to sign Manning. No doubt in my mind. Say what you want about Peterson...but he knew how to sign used-up, past-their-prime QB's.

DaWolf 10-11-2012 11:17 AM

Sure. That's why the Dolphins, who Peterson is a consultant for his buddy Ross, got him, right?

whoman69 10-11-2012 12:28 PM

Carl would have been bitch slapping the non true fans last week.

Sofa King 10-11-2012 12:39 PM

Peyton Manning does not = wins. That much is evidenced by the Broncos current situation.

100% agree. Not CoMo's point, though. The point is that Carl would have had more of a shot at Manning than Pioli ever would.

The Dolphins were interested in Manning.

Why didn't Peterson seal the deal and get Manning to take his talents to south beach?

MagicHef 10-11-2012 12:55 PM

Maybe if he had kidnapped Todd Helton.

Jive Ass 10-11-2012 01:03 PM

In 4 years you'll be saying that Pioli would have gotten ________ job done (if we can get rid of him). Dumb.

kushed god 10-11-2012 01:21 PM

With Manning, this team would be super bowl bound or at least afc championship bound. Manning would get all these clowns in place like Moeki, Mccluster, Baldwin, Breaston and they would do some serious damage and I think it would have made Bowe even better. I think Pioli and Hunt really tried to get a hold of Manning but Elway got him sooner and once Peyton and Elway met, I'm sure Elway did everything possible to make sure he didn't go to the chiefs (i.e talk shit about the organization, Pioli, team) and it just enhanced Mannings hatred of KC even more. Broncos don't have one single player with the level of talent Charles or Bowe has. Even our D is better, I truly believe this wasn't cause of Pioli or Hunt, Manning just hates the chiefs, he grew up hating them. From reports I've read, the Chiefs were the first team to reach out to Peyton and the next was the Seahawks.

Denver lost to the Pats, Texans and Falcons by a total of 22 points. The schedule lightens up the second half of the season and Denver will win the West. Manning does = wins. If he was with the K.C. they wouldn't be 1-4.

Brock Osweiller woulda been a first round pick if he would have waited one more year. Denver could have the next Aaron Rodgers riding the pine right now.

They got greedy, I think they think that window is closing fast. You know when Von becomes a free agent he is gonna cost a mint and Champ has to be close to hanging up the cleats

I'm a little skeptical about Twilight amounting to much. But at least the Broncos pulled the friggen trigger on a young QB. He's raw as crap but he's got a hellova arm.

Carl would've been smart enough to lure him as a starting QB not a backup to Cassel.

He looked like the second youngest player taken in the draft. Which he is. Ronnie Hillman and Brock Osweiler are the two youngest players in the NFL. Brock will be fine. If John Elway knows one thing, it's QB's.

Uh, no. Several teams offered him that much. At least one, the Titans, offered him more. Money was not the determining factor.

BigChiefFan 10-12-2012 01:10 PM

The same Carl that had to get PERMISSION FOR ANY SIGNING BONUS OVER $10 MILLION. Yeah, right.

Pasta Little Brioni 10-12-2012 01:59 PM

Carl would have drank some nice scotch and smiled at the thought of bringing a cheaper brokedick out of retirement.
