If we had anyone else on the coaching staff to take over, I'd say RAC would be gone today. The only 2 I'd even consider would be Zorn and ET and ET is 68 or 69. His heart would break and he deserves a better fate than that.

I think Pioli survives the season. They'll use Romeo and Casshole as the scapegoats. Romeo won't care. He's already in his mid-60s, the Chiefs will have to pay off the last two years of his contract, so he can do a Mangino, go to Denny's and lounge around, and laugh all the way to the bank. Casshole will get released or traded. Pioli will probably be retained. Lamar gave King Carl 20 years.
