We're doing this against the last place schedule

Our team is finding new ways to blow ass. But it occurred to me that we are playing the goddamned last place schedule IIRC.

Just another factoid to throw on top of this mind boggling sucktitude.

It's a process.

Bewbies 11-01-2012 11:36 PM

We play 6 games against the AFC West and 4 more against the NFC South. The 2 worst divisions in football...

ArrowheadMagic 11-01-2012 11:36 PM

I promised a competitive team, I never said who they could compete against /pioli

lcarus 11-01-2012 11:36 PM

Yeah well, when you're the very worst team in this league, and one of the worst in the history of the league, the schedule doesn't mean shit. Every team is just better than us. We got lucky as hell against New Orleans. The best player on the team just went off that one day, and the Saints are idiots for allowing it.

We are the team that is going resurrect Cam Newtons career.

We just save Norv Turner and Philip Rivers in Sandy Eggo.

Todd Haley is going look genious next week on monday night.

LMAO Josh Freeman came out of his slump when we played Tampa Bay.

Carson Palmer and the raiders got renewed hope for there season.

Look at all that we are accomplishing this year sucking in the last place schedule.

jspchief 11-01-2012 11:48 PM

The "last place schedule" only determines 2 games.

Bring on Alabama. I'm starting to wonder if the Chief are the one NFL team they could compete with.

Hammock Parties 11-02-2012 12:46 AM

It's an important tie breaker for the #1 pick.

Destiny bitches.

This is exactly what I'm thinking. F U Carolina and Cleveland. You're going to have a hard time outsucking us!

Why?

I haven't laughed that hard in a long time. It was simultaneously entertaining AND cathartic.

Woodchuck 11-02-2012 09:30 AM

I hate this team. I have never felt the way I feel about the Chiefs this year. In 2008, you could at least see growth and Thigpen was kind of fun to watch. This year is just killing me inside.

I know people are happy because maybe we will get the #1 pick but, I see that differently. I don't think there is a good QB in this draft and it is hard to see any hope.

They have to start Stanzi imo. They have to do something different or I can't keep watching. I can't believe I am saying that but it's true.

Eh. I only bring it up because it was a big talking point in 2010. As far as I'm concerned this is as close a schedule to the one in 10.

No earth shattering news, just perspective.

In all seriousness, although I'd like to have the #1 pick for the national attention, we don't need the #1 to get our QB. We're literally going to be the only team picking in the top 5 that needs a QB like we do. Jacksonville is close, but it appears that Gabbert is slowly coming around, not that he ever will. Carolina doesn't need one. Cleveland just used a 1st on Weeden, but I guess they could be someone to watch out for. We could get pick #3 and still end up with Geno or Barkley.

ROFL.

I just got a mental picture of a 12 year old girl blowing Cassel up and causing a fumble. Pardon the interruption.

Watch for the Jets and Cowboys to move up.

Sanchez will not start next season, and they would be fools to go into the season with Tebow.

Everyone in Dallas wants Romo out now, and Jones has the balls to go get what they need.

And we won't be favored in any of those games.

I think the way the system is now, teams are going to be willing to trade up to get a QB in the 2nd spot if there is more than one high pick. If we want Geno or Barkley, we have to be top 2 or move up. I don't think Dallas has the firepower after moving up last year. Not sure what they gave up.
