SNF Thread: Texans vs. Bears 11/11/12

Two 7-1 teams. Should be a good one.

Bugeater 11-11-2012 07:22 PM

Under the lights in the cold and rain. **** yes.

guitarmy21b 11-11-2012 07:23 PM

The GF is a Bears fan. I hope they win tonight for the sake of my sex life this week. I think they will though. Playing at home and they might be the best team in the league at the moment IMO.

MahiMike 11-11-2012 07:23 PM

Should be good. I'll take the Texans, 24-17.

Ceej 11-11-2012 07:24 PM

Love me some rain games!

stonedstooge 11-11-2012 07:25 PM

Who, exactly, have they played that would make them the best team in the league?

They are an illusion.

DaFace 11-11-2012 07:28 PM

They should have military choirs do all of the National Anthems.

Quesadilla Joe 11-11-2012 07:29 PM

Denver really needs the Texans to lose a few if we are going to get home field advantage throughout the playoffs.

No thanks.

That sucked.

Don't worry.

The refs will get the memo soon.

Quesadilla Joe 11-11-2012 07:31 PM

This weather favors the Bears D. Cutler's arm gives him an edge in this weather too.

The Iron Chief 11-11-2012 07:31 PM

I wasn't home for the day but I just gotta trust that you all had some fun at the Raiders and Chargers expense?
At the same time hoping beyond hope they give Norv another week to right the ship.

stonedstooge 11-11-2012 07:31 PM

Bears with the fumble recovery. w00t

Easy 6 11-11-2012 07:32 PM

Bears Win.

Thread over.

Looks like the refs already got the memo.

It's true their schedule has been cake aside from the Packers game(which they lost). I just think they're the most complete team. Their defense speaks for itself, they have a capable QB, a great RB, and Marshall has really sparked their offense. We'll find out how good they are in the next two weeks.

You prefer the typical pop star bullshit that they normally use?

Little dude buried the tight end

Houston is a more balanced, and overall more talented team.

I would just as soon they pipe in music, or eliminate the tradition altogether.

OK, that'd be fine too. I just hate all the people who go crazy trying to make the national anthem sound like a pop hit.

Easy 6 11-11-2012 07:57 PM

Wow, Fumblefest 2012.

If you're the coach, EVERYONE has to two arm cover the ball as soon as they have possession.

In weather like this you CANNOT worry about it hampering their ability to make moves.

Ace Gunner 11-11-2012 08:01 PM

watch julius peppers foot speed -- he is a manimal. still.

tk13 11-11-2012 08:01 PM

And there's the Bears D.

tk13 11-11-2012 08:05 PM

And there's a Cutlerception.

Bugeater 11-11-2012 08:05 PM

And there's the Bears O.

-King- 11-11-2012 08:05 PM

Cutlerception. Right to him.

Both were just poorly thrown balls.

The team that wins in the trenches tonight is the team that will win this game.

Quesadilla Joe 11-11-2012 08:07 PM

Cutler better not have one of his meltdown games tonight. He has a handful of them every season. :shake:

But but he has "it"/ blacktard

-King- 11-11-2012 08:12 PM

Wow. Another terribly thrown ball for an INT.

cyborgtable 11-11-2012 08:12 PM

Wow another pick on a really really bad ball

Bugeater 11-11-2012 08:12 PM

WTF is going on here?

Quesadilla Joe 11-11-2012 08:13 PM

ROFL

Easy 6 11-11-2012 08:13 PM

WOW.

What could Schaub have possibly seen to make him look so confident with that throw.

-King- 11-11-2012 08:14 PM

Cluster****

DaFace 11-11-2012 08:14 PM

Rough day for the refs. Why the hell did they blow the whistle on the 30? He was either down at the 37 or in the end zone.

He overcompensated for the wind/rain.

TimeForWasp 11-11-2012 08:15 PM

Bring back the replacements. LOL

tk13 11-11-2012 08:16 PM

The way this week has gone, the Chiefs will win tomorrow night on a missed hail mary call.

Bugeater 11-11-2012 08:18 PM

Well that was a monumental waste of time.

Dylan 11-11-2012 08:20 PM

I'm losing track of all the TOs...

chefsos 11-11-2012 08:20 PM

Holy crap, that hit Marshall right in the hands.

stonedstooge 11-11-2012 08:20 PM

cyborgtable 11-11-2012 08:38 PM

Their killing them on the ground

-King- 11-11-2012 08:40 PM

Nice catch. TD Foster

chefsos 11-11-2012 08:40 PM

That is a hell of a catch right there.

stonedstooge 11-11-2012 08:40 PM

I'll bet you Foster would have been a star on the other side of the ball too

Bears are going to have to attempt to do the same.

I agree.

tk13 11-11-2012 08:45 PM

Cutler got destroyed there.

Bugeater 11-11-2012 08:45 PM

Cutler got jacked.

Dylan 11-11-2012 08:45 PM

when you're not turning the ball over things go your way...

-King- 11-11-2012 08:45 PM

Oh shit...that was pretty close. I thought he was like 3 yards past.

stonedstooge 11-11-2012 08:45 PM

Damn Cutler got lit the **** up

Jesus...Poor Cutler

GloryDayz 11-11-2012 08:46 PM

Oh, the old "hitting the QB above the cleats" rule... Got it..

:spock: It was clearly helmet to helmet.

GloryDayz 11-11-2012 08:48 PM

LOL, they'll get this reversed..

stonedstooge 11-11-2012 08:48 PM

Gonna be a big fine on that one

milkman 11-11-2012 08:49 PM

I ****ing hate that rule.

That was a good solid hit, but some bullshit rule makes it illegal.

That's the kind of bullshit rule I want to kill the rules committee for.

cyborgtable 11-11-2012 08:49 PM

They didn't overturn it

Bull****ing shit.

That was a solid shoulder to shoulder hit.

DaFace 11-11-2012 08:50 PM

I don't like that he called it "confirmed," but I would have been fine with just the "ruling on the field stands." I think it was close enough it could've gone either way.

stonedstooge 11-11-2012 08:50 PM

Cutler's a tough bitch

Cutler took a crown of a helmet directly to the facemask. It wasn't even close.

I agree. I understand what the NFL is trying to accomplish, but many times it's something that's virtually impossible to avoid.
